It looks like you could have abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). This can be caused by many things such as hormone imbalances, stress, or certain drugs. The light flow followed by brown discharge might mean old blood is coming out. I’m glad that you took a pregnancy test which came back negative ruling in pregnancy. My advice would be to keep track of your symptoms and talk to a gynecologist about them for further evaluation and guidance.
