which type of hair transplant treatment is best suited for grade 2 baldness ?

I am 25-year-old man I am at level 2 baldness now. I am facing severe hair loss since the age of 23. I have already tried medication and other treatments, none of them has really helped me.  I am thinking of doing hair transplant, would it help me and what which type of treatment should I go for?

With regards to the Grade 2 baldness where hairline is significantly receding, an ideal procedure for transplanting of hairs involves FUE method. FUE refers to the removal of individual hair follicles from donor areas, normally on the back or sides of one’s scalp and subsequently implanting them in recipient sites. This technique is less invasive with no linear scar and therefore recovered faster. The number of grafts required will vary based on personal details like hair density and goals for success. As a result, seeking advice from an experienced hair transplant specialist can help establish the best solution and discuss specific issues arising out of Grade 2 baldness.

Now your problem is unique to the current generation and that is hair loss or baldness at a very young age. If you are noticing hair loss at such a young age and have experienced up to Norwood two or three, level of hair loss, then as a doctor, I will ask you your family history of hair loss.

Sometimes it is not only your genes, which are playing a role, it is your epigenome or your lifestyle, which is also hastening your hair loss, meaning causing baldness at a younger age than what it occurred in your family members. It may be your father, your grandfather, your maternal grandfather or your mother's brother.

So first step, instead of rushing into a hair transplant is to inquire at what age did they loose hair ? If you are losing hair at least five to 10 years before the time when your senior family members lost their hair. Then considered factors like your epigenome or lifestyle, which can be modified and good antioxidants, like resveratrol can be delivered by microneedling to make the skin and the enviroment around your hair follicles healthy and conducive to hair growth.

If it is hairloss at the same time, in your case, as it is in your previous generation. then, of course, you can go for a hair transplant. Also, if you go for the hair transplant, remember first step should be to evaluate your total donor hair availability. That would be the hair on back and the side of the head, the beard area, the armpits, and any strong body here that you may have. All of these hair are yours. Hair, which can be transplanted once you go bald. So if you're planning to go for a transplant at this young age, then use only a small fraction of the donor reserve. Because if you lose more hair, you will need these grafts that are remaining hair grafts to go for more transplants.

I hope I helped you understand this. Regarding epigenome improvement or lifestyle improvement. Take care to avoid undue stress. Improve your diet. Do not take too much processed food or food containing preservatives . Home cooked food is better. Take a salad of broccoli, tomato, and mushroom every day. If possible, take seafood, especially Salmon that also helps you in preventing premature hair loss or baldness. Anti aging supplements

like resveratrol and NMN (Nicotinamide mononucleotide) have been shown to help regrow hair. So that is also an alternative you can look at and study. And let me know if you wish to know more about those things. Thank you.

Hi,
As you are in the grade 2 of baldness and already tried medication and other treatment, you should consult an experience clinic which can plan your hair journey. Since only hair transplant would not help you to get rid of from your problems. You need to do a combination of treatment as well as medicine to maintain your hair density for a longer duration.

You can visit at Dadu Medical Centre to get the customized solution of your problem .

there are some non surgical procedures like prp along with supportive medication to improve your present condition. As you want to go for hair transplant we consider the status of your donor area availability to proceed further.for this you need a proper clinical checkup.

See, usually in grade 2 hair transplant is not required, you can do PRP treatment, but it should be taken care that the doctor you are showing is increasing your platelet count by injecting it because everyone has a way to do it. It is different and every 45 days to 90 days you will have to take 4 sittings from work and if you want to do a transplant which is a permanent treatment, then for that you should first consult a plastic cosmetic surgeon. Can tell by taking photos or personally. you can consult through by email also.

A level of baldness generally we don't get at this age. We can still wait for surgery. Please share your pictures, if there is more than 80-90% of hair loss then there is possibility that we can suggest you the surgery. Otherwise continue the medicine you are still using it and you can add the prp or advance prp sessions in addition to the medication so that this combination is more effective than medicine alone.
