Why am I experiencing prolonged bleeding and severe symptoms?
I am a 22 year old woman. Over the past 4 years i have had 2 endometriosis surgeries and have an IUD placed. More than two weeks back I have started spotting, thereafter I have fallen very ill and had immensely painful pain, was nauseous the whole time had a fever, etc. This is almost two weeks past, I am still bleeding, still have a lot of pain, and are still very nauseous.

I suggest the likelihood of this being an infectious disease process somewhere in your reproductive system is high. This is why I would recommend that you see a gynecologist as soon as possible for them to evaluate the situation further.

Health is not good likoria is main problem itching and pain full. And weakness
Female | 35
It sounds like you're experiencing some troubling symptoms such as itching, pain, and overall fatigue. These feelings might stem from a variety of conditions, including infections, skin issues, or even allergies. To find relief, it's essential to maintain good hydration and consider gentle, over-the-counter moisturizers or antihistamines. However, seeking guidance from a gynecologist is important to determine the root cause and receive appropriate treatment. They can recommend specific interventions tailored to your needs, ensuring a quicker return to better health.

I had unprotected sex 2 days after my periods ended. What should I do?
Female | 29
You may have gotten pregnant after unprotected sex just after your period ended. Watch for no period, feeling sick, or sore breasts. Get morning-after pills from a drugstore fast - no prescription needed. They lower pregnancy chances.

I am 3 weeks pregnant and i have taken 12 tablets of misoprostol orally and inserted 2, yet nothing happened, i did not bleed neither did i feel any cramp.
Female | 29
It's important to understand that individual responses to misoprostol can vary. Some individuals may not experience immediate effects, and it's not unusual to have no bleeding or cramping at this stage. However, the lack of response you describe could indicate that the medication didn't work as intended. I strongly encourage you to consult a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide necessary guidance and discuss further options to ensure your well-being.

Hello.... I am a 19 year old female suffering from chronic yeast infection.... I have been under antifungal and antibiotic treatment for 7 months now.... I have irritation, discomfort and vaginal burning ....I was asking what I should do or any medication I can take which would be effective for my condition... I am also sexually active and asking if my partner should take any medication or not...if yes, which medication? I would greatly appreciate your assistance since I'm under a lot of discomfort and pain
Female | 19
I'm really sorry to hear that you've been dealing with this problem for so long. Chronic yeast infections can become a very big hassle and might warrant your doctor finding a new strategy. It's very important that you go to a doctor who can look at what's going on with your particular case and who can prescribe treatment to address the problem head-on because antibiotic use is one of the main causes that brings back the infection. Products like over-the-counter antifungal might alleviate the condition, but the advice from a healthcare professional is equally important. It’s also necessary for your partner to seek medical help and the doctor might prescribe other drugs for the next vaginal treatment. By working together you can come up with surefire tactics to facilitate and prevent future symptoms. Always remember your well-being and comfort are important so, make sure to get help from a professional.

I am getting prolonged period after c section delivery in November in this month I am getting periods from 15 days I am taking contraceptive pills since 8 days
Female | 29
The body undergoes changes after a cesarean delivery. Your menstrual cycle may become irregular. A prolonged period can occur due to hormonal fluctuations or physical stress. Using birth control pills initially disrupts your cycle. Monitor your symptoms carefully. If they persist or worsen, consult your gynecologist.

Female | 28
Sometimes periods can be late because of stress, a change in routine, or hormonal fluctuations. The tablets you took could also affect your cycle. Wait for a few more days. If you still do not get your periods, it would be good to talk to a gynecologist for advice that is specific to you.

I had protected sex on 2 Nov though due to safety purposes I took a pill on the same day few hours later. From 6 Nov to till today I'm having abdominal pain. When will I get periods? Is this pain a sign of periods? Is there any chance to get pregnant? My last period before sex started on 26 Oct to 30 Oct.
Female | 19
Abdominal pain, which can be an indication of some other problem, for instance, gastrointestinal upset, bowel irradiation, or premenstrual symptoms, can come before your period and cause a throbbing sensation. Your last period ended on October 30, which means you could probably have your next period on or about the same date. On the one hand, the pill has decreased the probability of you getting pregnant; however, on the other hand, if you are feeling the need, a pregnancy test will be the best option. If the pain continues or gets worse, get it checked by a gynecologist.

I am pregnant of one week and i took aten 50 from 2 days but i realised it is not good for pregnancy.i am worried can it harm my foetus
Female | 39
Using Aten 50 in the early stages of pregnancy might not be ideal, as it could potentially harm the fetus. Symptoms of malnutrition could include irregular growth or development issues in the baby. It's important to schedule an appointment with your gynecologist to discuss safer alternatives that protect your health and your baby's. Your doctor will help you understand the possible outcomes and the best course of action.

I am 24 years old female. I am two weeks pregnant. I just started bleeding, i can’t go to a medical professional any time soon. What should i do and why is this happening
Female | 24
Blood loss throughout an early pregnancy might have a few causes such as implantation, hormone shifts, and small issues, to name a few. It is well for IUDers to keep an eye on the flow and any symptoms like severe cramps or dizziness. Letting you rest instead of doing anything stressful can be more helpful. Even though the majority of the cases can be solved without intervention, it is advisable to receive a gynecologist's advice as soon as possible.

Female | 12
Irregular cycles often occur in the initial days when periods start. Factors like tension, diet shifts, workouts, or hormonal imbalances could cause early periods. Ensure she eat properly, sleeps sufficiently, and handles stress well. If this recurs or discomfort or heavy flow occurs, visit a gynecologist for further guidance.

Iam 23 year old I was having vaginal discharge from few days…I never usually gets vaginal discharge much but from few days I was seeing clear little white and not that much odor discharge.recently I was diagnosed with UTI cystitis and I was using medications is it due to that or recently I HD intersex with my husband without protection so after that I was having cystitis so is this discharge due to infection or due to pregnancy ??but I also had my pregnancy test done with kit but it showed negative and I also got periods last time after the periods I did my pregnancy test…it showed negative.but now my periods date was again on this month 16 but from few days I was having this discharge what might be the reason?
Female | 23
It sounds like you are experiencing an increase in vaginal discharge, which can occur for various reasons, including changes in hormones or a response to infection. The clear, slightly white discharge you mention could be normal, especially if there is no strong odor or irritation. Since you have been diagnosed with cystitis and are under treatment, this might be related. Your negative pregnancy tests suggest you are likely not pregnant. However, it’s important to monitor your symptoms. If you have concerns or if the discharge changes in odor or consistency, please consult your gynecologist for personalized advice and care.

Hi! I am 6 weeks pregnant. Until today my breast was tender and sensitive. Today this symptoms subsided a lot. Is it alarming?
Female | 41
It's common for symptoms like breast tenderness to fluctuate during early pregnancy due to hormonal changes. Many women experience variations in their symptoms, and this doesn't necessarily indicate a problem. As your body adjusts, some discomfort may lessen. However, if you have any concerns, especially if accompanied by other unusual symptoms, reaching out to your gynecologist is advisable for reassurance and guidance. They can address your worries and ensure everything is progressing normally.

Periods can vary in timing and flow due to various factors, including stress, hormonal imbalances, changes in weight, or underlying health conditions. A heavy flow, like you described, may occasionally occur and can be linked to hormonal issues or other reasons. It's important to monitor accompanying symptoms such as severe pain or excessive bleeding. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and managing stress can help regulate your cycle. How to treat UTI after periods
Female | 36
UTIs can occur after menstruation. Signs are burning urination, frequent bathroom trips, and lower abdomen discomfort. Bacteria enters the urinary tract, causing infection. Drink plenty of fluids and cranberry juice to help flush bacteria. Urinate frequently as well. If severe symptoms persist, see a urologist for antibiotics.
