You may have a medical condition known as hives. They usually cause an itchy rash that comes and goes within a couple of minutes. They are sometimes caused by allergies, stress, or infections. Over-the-counter antihistamines and triggering agent avoidance, like certain foods or products, can help with the itching. If hives are still there or getting worse, a visit to dermatologist would be good.

How to glow my skin and face?
Male | 20
To ensure healthy and shining skin, it is imperative to establish a consistent and appropriate skincare regimen. Use a mild face wash to cleanse; moisturizing regularly, and using sunscreen to safeguard from sunburns are also important. Using a scrub at least once/twice a week or a face mask would be nice. Thus, you remove dead skin cells to renew it

I have too many blemishes on my face
Male | 17
Blemishes can be frustrating, yet they're normal and treatable. Spots or tiny bumps on the skin are classified as blemishes. Clogged pores, bacteria, or hormone fluctuations might cause these. Gently cleansing your face regularly helps. Applying benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid products could improve things. However, avoid popping or squeezing blemishes to prevent scars. If the issue persists, consult a dermatologist for guidance.

i am 26 ,my sweat, saliva, tears, vagina discharge smells the same not a normal smell
Female | 26
It seems you might have trimethylaminuria, also known as "fish odor syndrome." This condition happens when your body can't break down trimethylamine, leading to a fishy smell in sweat, saliva, tears, and vaginal discharge. There's no specific medication for this, but you can manage it by avoiding certain foods like fish and eggs. It's best to consult a specialist like a dermatologist or a metabolic disorder expert to get a professional opinion and proper guidance.

I am 38 year old male. A few weeks back I noticed a bald patch on my head.
Male | 38
You may be suffering from alopecia areata. This is a condition where the immune system attacks the hair follicles leading to hair loss. It is usually sudden and appears as a bald patch on the scalp. While sometimes hair might grow back on its own, it can also be intermittent. For advice on possible treatments like steroid injections or creams, it would be best seen by a dermatologist.

Hello doc..I have painful rashes all over my body that later turn into scaly patches. What is my diagnosis
Female | 26
These rashes could mean psoriasis, a condition where immune issues make skin cells grow too fast. It causes red, itchy patches to turn scaly. To treat psoriasis, doctors may prescribe medicines and creams. These help ease symptoms and slow cell growth. But see a dermatologist for proper diagnosis and the right care.

I think I may have the STD/STI virus called Herpes. There are tiny little pink bumps that have been on my penis for a while now.
Male | 23
It is really important to keep monitoring and watching any changes occurring in your body. These small pink pimples that you see might be due to Herpes. Having sores, blisters, and itching are the common outcomes when you get an infection. A virus caused by herpes simplex is spread by the transmission of proteins from the infected source to the recipient's body. But the only certain way till the moment it is still unconfirmed is to get tested by a professional health worker.

my ten year old daughter who has a few white spots on her knees bilaterally and also a white spot on her left eyelid. What is it, it’s not painful nor itchy but has grown in size in the last month on her knees. Her eyelid started as very dry skin then a white spot. Please advise
Female | 10
Your daughter might have vitiligo, a common skin condition that causes white patches on the skin. It doesn’t cause pain or itching but can spread over time. The exact cause isn’t clear, but it may affect the immune system. While treatments are available, managing the condition can be challenging. It’s important to consult a dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and discuss the best treatment options for your daughter.

I have been facing vaginal itching and inflammation over the past two years. Also on my inner thighs. It comes and goes. As you mentioned i also suspected yeast infection. And i ve been using candida b ointment for over an year now. And still there's no change. It comes and goes all the time. My eyelids also started getting irritated , without any itching. And the infection has not spreaded to anywhere over the past two year. Is there any medication i must try ? Or should i consider any pap smear ?
Female | 24
Vaginal itching and redness could be induced due to several things like yeast infections. If the candid B ointment hasn't done the work, consider other possibilities too. As the infection has not expanded, I diagnose it as a local problem. Make an appointment with a dermatologist for health assessment and treatment suggestions.

Male | 49
You are putting up with a condition called Balanitis that may lead you to have a rash on the head of your penis. Balanitis can occur due to improper hygiene, an irritating reaction to chemicals, or infections. No pain or itching, so it could be mild. I recommend keeping the area dry and clean, using mild soap, and staying away from irritating substances. If it doesn't improve, go to a dermatologist for further advice.

My baby is 1.8yr old girl...she got fine hairs at her private part and underarms and little facial hair also...it's from birth....her dad also got much hairy skin..is it normal about her
Female | 1
It’s normal for your 1.8-year-old daughter to have fine hair in those areas. It could be because her dad is hairy – sometimes it runs in the family. These hairs are not a problem and do not require any treatment. As she gets older these hairs may become thicker, but that is fine too.

Hi, My little finger got injured a few days back. There was no cut or bleeding but there was pus coming from it for couple of days. I did not use any medicine. Now it heeled completely and I do not have any pain. But the fingernail is starting to come off. What should I do?
Male | 24
Your finger got an infection and that’s why there was pus. The pus most likely helped to fight off the infection in your body though. Once your finger has healed, it’s common for the nail to come off occasionally. A new one will grow back. Keep the area clean and covered. However, if it looks infected again or you are worried about anything else then it’s always best to get it checked out by a dermatologist.
