It could be that you have an allergy or a skin condition that you're trying to address. On further observation, there might be more factors contributing to this. I recommend that you book an appointment with a dermatologist who will give you a diagnosis and the right treatment.

I am 21 year old male with itchy foreskin and itchy scrotum, I have used a topical ointment like hooch itch cream but didn’t work I applied other lotions to help smooth but doesn’t seem to go away and I’ve had it for weeks now.
Male | 21
You may have jock itch, a common condition. It makes the groin area itchy and red. This includes the scrotum and foreskin. A fungal infection usually causes jock itch. To help, keep the area clean and dry. Try an antifungal cream for a jock itch. Wash and dry thoroughly before applying cream. Wear loose, breathable cotton underwear. Don't share towels or clothes, as the itch spreads easily. If home treatments don't help, see a dermatologist.

I have rashes on my body. It come and goes. It has been like this for 4months. this week I did a blood test and I want explanations to the results.
Male | 41
The results of your blood test suggest that you may have an allergy or an autoimmune disease. These can be the reason why rashes appear and disappear. It is essential to work out the cause of these rashes and treat them by staying away from the allergen or taking medication as prescribed by your doctor. Remember to go back to a dermatologist for more tests and treatment.

I went to a dermatologist for hair loss. He said it could be genetic, but he still wanted me to get a vitamin D test. He prescribed me Ketoral Shampoo, Proestee Anti-Hair Loss Serum, and Pharmaceris H Stimupeel. I have been using the Ketoral Shampoo and Proestee Anti-Hair Loss Serum for a week now, but my hair loss has increased. Is this increase temporary? Or are the doctor's recommendations not suitable for me? When will these medications take effect and my hair loss stop? I also had a vitamin D test done yesterday and my vitamin D level was very low, so I was prescribed a vitamin D supplement. Could my hair loss be due to vitamin D deficiency rather than genetics?
Male | 27
Hair loss happens for many reasons. Your genes play a role. Nutrient deficiencies are a factor too. Your dermatologist prescribed tests and medicines. They help find the cause and treat the issue. Hair loss may get worse before improving. Stick with the products prescribed by your doctor. Give them time to work, usually 3-6 months. Lack of vitamin D contributes to hair loss. A vitamin D supplement aids hair health over time.

I have like this tiny multiple lumps that looks like warts but it isn't...im guessing them to be external hemorrhoids but its not connected into the anal...the location of those lumps are not too far away from the anal. I would like to know what disease it this and how to cure it.
Male | 18
The little bumps you are describing could be harmless skin conditions such as warts or other skin overgrowths, rather than hemorrhoids, especially if they are not located near the butt. These actually thrive from several causes, e.g., friction or irritation. Often, they are benign and may not affect health much, but it’s crucial to keep an eye on any changes. Washing and not rubbing as ways to alleviate symptoms would help. I suggest that you consult a dermatologist to give you an accurate diagnosis and suggest suitable therapies for treatment.

Fungle infection is start from 2 year ago
Other | 28
Fungal infections may be reassured by symptoms like the reddish color, itching, and wavy skin. On the whole, they are caused by excess moisture or a weakened immune system. To deal with it, you will require antifungal treatment that will kill the fungus. Focus on cleaning and drying up the infected area, then wear clothes that are only fitted to you to help it heal.

Vitamin B12 and vitamin D deficiency lead to hair loss. It is advised that you see a dermatologist and an endocrinologist for a thorough examination and treatment.

I am a male 17 year old almost I suddenly was showering and checked a bump when I was checking groin area lower abdomen left side and upper part of groin area I found something that is 1 cm and I can feel it? And I checked on other side but it was very small I can feel it but not as outer side as on left side is this inguinal lymph node? Or something serious I am very tensed feeling so scared what is it , I also had ultrasound a month ago of whole abdomen I don't think it was found or seen it that because it's in lower abdomen
Male | 17
The lump you are sensing in your groin region might be an engorged inguinal lymph node. Lymph nodes can get bigger due to different reasons like a cold or a sore. Most of the time, they return to their normal size without any intervention. Mind it, if the situation gets worse, you might experience pain and other signs like fever, do visit a dermatologist.

Pretty sure ive got an ingrown toenail, and im pretty sure its infected. Ive been cutting it myself for over a year but its too painful. Side of my toe’s kind of swollen, its very red/pink. Also if I pull the skin on the side of the ingrown toe part away, pus will kinda leak out a bit. And as of today, its hurting to walk. If i even bump the top of my toe, i get searing pain in my toe. And as of right now, my foot and calf have this kind of ache-y pain.
Female | 20
The swelling, redness, and pus leakage plus pain are the symptoms of infected. The infection might get worse if no treatment is done. The pain and the ache in your foot and calf might be caused by the spreading of the infection. You have to see a dermatologist. They could recommend antibiotics or surgery to take away the ingrown toenail.

I have skin problem,I had pimples on face and chest for long time
Female | 22
Getting pimples on your face and chest is quite annoying. Those red bumps often occur when hair follicles become blocked with oil and dead skin cells. This happens if your body produces excessive oil. Wash your skin gently using a mild soap to keep it clean. You could try using over-the-counter acne products with benzoyl peroxide to help clear up the pimples. If the issue persists, visit a dermatologist.

Can I apply Tbact ointment on a wound in my hand
Female | 25
Taking care of a wound properly is important. Tbact ointment should only be used when there is an infection present. Notice signs like redness, warmth, or pus? If not, simply clean the wound using soap and water, bandaging it afterward. However, see a dermatologist if infection signs appear, for proper treatment.

Reoccurring fungal infection at thigh area
Male | 24
Redness, itching, and rash can be caused by fungal infections. These occur when specific fungi come into contact with your skin. To treat these infections, you can use antifungal creams or pharmacy powders. During treatment, ensure the affected area is always clean and dry, as fungi thrive in warm, moist environments. If there is no improvement, consult a dermatologist. To aid your skin's healing and prevent future infections, wear loose-fitting clothing and cotton underwear, which help keep your skin dry and allow it to breathe.

Good afternoon, I have rashes kind of situation on my Penis head. No pain, no itching. Can you please suggest how to get it solved?
Male | 49
You are putting up with a condition called Balanitis that may lead you to have a rash on the head of your penis. Balanitis can occur due to improper hygiene, an irritating reaction to chemicals, or infections. No pain or itching, so it could be mild. I recommend keeping the area dry and clean, using mild soap, and staying away from irritating substances. If it doesn't improve, go to a dermatologist for further advice.
