Why do I have itchy foreskin and scrotum?
I am 21 year old male with itchy foreskin and itchy scrotum, I have used a topical ointment like hooch itch cream but didn’t work I applied other lotions to help smooth but doesn’t seem to go away and I’ve had it for weeks now.

You may have jock itch, a common condition. It makes the groin area itchy and red. This includes the scrotum and foreskin. A fungal infection usually causes jock itch. To help, keep the area clean and dry. Try an antifungal cream for a jock itch. Wash and dry thoroughly before applying cream. Wear loose, breathable cotton underwear. Don't share towels or clothes, as the itch spreads easily. If home treatments don't help, see a dermatologist.
