Answered on 27th Sept '24
A possible reason for the red patches on your penis glans could be the adverse reaction to post-exposure prophylaxis tablets, which is a medication used to prevent HIV infection after potential exposure. This is a reaction known as a drug rash. To avoid this, it is essential to inform a dermatologist. They may suggest a different medication or recommend ways to manage the rash, such as using gentle skin care products or applying a soothing cream.

The acne could be due to hormonal changes in the body
You can start by using a benzoyl peroxide facewash. Depending on the stage of acne whether more of comedones or white heads or black heads or pus filled acne a medical line of treatment can be started. Topical application of clindamycin and adaphelene can be given .However these need to be given under the supervision of a dermatologist. You can visit best dermatologist in mumbai for quick treatment

thats normal on my pubic hair have like blackhead ?
Female | 22
It’s common to notice small, dark spots or bumps in the pubic area. These can be due to ingrown hairs, clogged follicles, or even harmless skin conditions like folliculitis. To alleviate discomfort, gently exfoliate the area and keep it clean. Avoid tight clothing to lessen irritation. Using a soothing moisturizer can help, too. If you experience pain, persistent irritation, or unusual changes, it’s wise to consult a dermatologist for personalized advice and care.

I have been having things appearing on my legs they seem to spread and are itching due to me scratching them and bringing both legs in contact to each other they have spread I tried fungal medication but they just stop itching but still spread dont know what to do anymore. Also I'm in a country which the language is quite difficult so it's hard to express my discomfort. Please help
Female | 23
It sounds like you may be experiencing a skin condition that could be allergic or possibly an infection. Scratching can worsen symptoms and lead to further irritation. While fungal medications can help, their effectiveness depends on the underlying issue. It’s important to avoid scratching and keep the affected area clean and dry. I recommend consulting a dermatologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to your condition. They can provide you with necessary medications and advice on how to manage the itching and spread effectively.

Female | 20
Your wife is likely to have an infection at the injection site. The symptoms such as heat, pain, and redness are caused when the bacteria get in. The area needs to be cleaned gently and the healthcare provider must be consulted. Antibiotics may be recommended to eliminate the infection. Do not use ice or cover it up without advice as it may aggravate the problem.

Female | 28
It looks like ingrown hairs in your bikini area might be what you are possibly struggling with. These little bumps occur when hair doubles back into the skin rather than growing out. They sometimes lead to redness, itching, or even pain. To assist in healing this, softly scrub the area, shun tight clothes, and think about warm compresses. If the problem persists, visit a dermatologist.

Female | 24
Oily skin is common and can lead to pimples and acne. The symptoms are so shiny skin, big pores, and sometimes breakouts. The cause of oily skin is the excessive sebum production by the skin. Salicylic acid face wash to unclog pores will suffice for this purpose. Oil control is also possible with a serum containing niacinamide.

Female | 39
It's understandable to be concerned about any discomfort you're experiencing. The symptoms you're describing, such as pain and skin changes in that area, may indicate an infection or irritation. It’s good that you’ve been using Canesten as prescribed, but if the condition persists or worsens, it’s important to consult your dermatologist. They can assess your symptoms more thoroughly and determine if further treatment is needed. In the meantime, try to keep the area clean and dry, avoid irritants, and wear loose-fitting clothing.

Rashes on your penis, body, and balls could be a result of infections, allergies, or just irritation by soaps or fabrics. Male | 23
It is really important to keep monitoring and watching any changes occurring in your body. These small pink pimples that you see might be due to Herpes. Having sores, blisters, and itching are the common outcomes when you get an infection. A virus caused by herpes simplex is spread by the transmission of proteins from the infected source to the recipient's body. But the only certain way till the moment it is still unconfirmed is to get tested by a professional health worker.
