Why am I bleeding after azithromycin for chlamydia?
i took azithromycin for chlamydia 2 weeks ago.. I had sex last night and started bleeding in between my next period. What caused the bleeding?

The bleeding after taking the medicine for the germ may have a few causes. Sometimes, sex can irritate or tear the cervix or vagina lining. This might happen when the place is delicate from the recent sickness and treatment. This can make some spotting or light bleeding happen. It is also possible the germ made swelling in the cervix or vagina. This makes it easier to bleed during or after sex. If the bleeding keeps happening, it is wise to see your gynecologist to make sure all is well.
