Could stress delay my period after emergency contraception use?
I took emergency contraception on April 13th and I got my normal period on April 26th. This month my period is late. I’m not sure whether this could be due to stress I’ve been worried about my cortisol levels and have been experiencing some associated symptoms like fatigue and nausea but I’m also worried that I could be pregnant

If your period is late, it’s okay to worry. Stress can throw off your cycle, causing it to be late or even completely miss it. Feeling tired or throwing up could also be symptoms of stress. If you took the morning-after pill and then got your period, you probably aren’t pregnant. It is better to wait a little longer and see if it comes. If your period still hasn’t shown up, take a test just to be sure.

Sometimes, periods become irregular because of hormones or medicine. To get pregnant faster, track your ovulation cycle. Look for signs like changes in cervical fluid or use an ovulation test kit. Staying healthy, eating well, and exercising regularly can also help fertility.

My period should come in this week. I have been experiencing white vaginal discharge for past 2-3 days which have become a lot today. I am worried about pregnancy although i had protected sex followed by withdrawal method 3 weeks back.
Female | 20
This could be your body getting ready for your period. Stress or hormones can make it happen at other times too though. Since you used protection when having sex, there’s not much chance that this means pregnancy. Try not to get too worked up unless there are other strange signs along with the discharge, it’d be best to talk to a gynecologist.

Sex krne ke baad mere bignin part se kuch bahar aa gya placenta ki trh
Female | 19
A prolapse happens when the tissue gets weak near your private area. After intimacy, it bulges out like a placenta. You might feel pressure or discomfort. Don't lift heavy stuff for now. Doctors sometimes suggest exercises. They may recommend a supportive device too. But don't worry; this is treatable. Talk to a gynecologist about advice.

Heavy periods not stopping
Female | 20
Periods can be heavy, and it’s concerning when they don’t stop. You might bleed a lot, need many pads, and feel tired and in pain. The causes can be hormonal changes, fibroids, or issues with the uterus lining. Treatment depends on the cause—iron pills for anemia, medication to balance hormones, or surgery for fibroids. Your gynecologist will help with diagnosis and treatment.

I am 28 days late on my period and my cycle is normally regular. I was meant to get my period around 1 August. My last period was around 1-6 July. I had intercourse on 20 and 21 July. 2 weeks ago, I had period-like pain and took a Clear Blue test. It came back negative. This was 17 August and I had some light spotting (brown and then red), but it was only when I wiped myself. Nothing more. Then on 20 August, I took another test, this time a digital Clear Blue one, it was also negative. Then 23 August, I took another and it was negative. It was a generic Dischem test. Then 24 August, I took another Clear Blue test and it was negative. On 26 August, I had some breast pain and tummy discomfort that felt like light tummy bug. I took 2 tests at different times - one Generic test from a chemist and one Safecare bio-tech rapid response. Both negative. On 28 August, I just took another test, it was another Safecare rapid response. Also negative. So far, I have taken 7 tests, all negative.
Female | 30
If you're 28 days late and still getting negative test results, it's less likely you're pregnant. Stress, weight fluctuations, and hormonal imbalance may be responsible for the delayed menses. Sometimes, the organism requires additional time to readjust. If you are worried, going to a gynecologist for a check-up can make you feel better.

Hi i saw my period beginning of last month and i saw it last week now I'm seeing it again what can i do?
Female | 19
Seeing your period twice monthly can feel frustrating. Hormonal imbalance, stress, weight changes, or medications might cause this. If experiencing heavy bleeding, severe cramps, or dizziness, rest, drink lots of water, and eat iron-rich foods to replenish your body. Keep tracking periods; if this continues, speak with a gynecologist.

Female | 22
If your period is normally regular but it’s a little late this time, don’t panic – it could be due to stress, weight change or other reasons. Sometimes our bodies can be a little unpredictable. If you’re worried that you might be pregnant though – try taking a test just for peace of mind. Keep in mind that there are lots of things that can cause changes in your cycle.

I am a 20 year old girl and I have just experienced blood spotting 5 days after my periods it started as light brown discharge till l noticed blood after peeing and whiping off
Female | 20
Blood spotting may be caused by hormonal issues, emotional imbalance, or certain medications. Also, if you have other symptoms like pain or itching, you need to inform a gynecologist so that they can rule out or cure an infection or some other problems.

I took a positive pregnancy test presumably 4.5 weeks gestation. I am now 10 weeks gestation, tomorrow. I took a pregnancy test tonight as a result of overthinking and doubt whether I'm pregnant or not. It was negative. However, I've been experiencing tender sore breasts, nosebleeds, light cramping, back pain, feeling more hungry yet hesitant to eat much due to feeling nauseous at various times of the day and "pregnancy rage" (I'm a very calm person. It's out of charachter)
Female | 27
You've had uncommon symptoms lately. The negative test doesn't always mean no pregnancy. Early pregnancy often brings tender breasts and nausea. Nosebleeds, cramping, back pain, and mood shifts can relate to pregnancy hormones too. Take care of yourself by resting when needed, drinking enough fluids, and eating small meals frequently. If you're concerned, consult a gynecologist.

My period came before the date and since then it has lasted for ten days now, I have pains in my lower abdomen and fever, fatigue and headache since then
Female | 39
Your period coming early and lasting for a long time, along with lower abdomen pain, fever, fatigue, and headache, could be a sign of pelvic inflammatory disease. This is when the germs get into the reproductive organs. To feel better, you should drink enough water, get a good night's sleep, and take pain medications that can be bought without a prescription. It is necessary to visit a gynecologist for the correct diagnosis and treatment.

I missed my periods 2 4 days ago and I think I am pregnant and I haven't taken any pregnancy test
Female | 16
Sometimes women miss periods. That could mean pregnancy. Other signs: feeling tired, sick, sore breasts, lots of urinating. Pregnancy happens when an egg meets sperm. To confirm if pregnant, take home test or get blood test done. It's essential to know pregnancy status early.

Hello sir / madam. My girlfriend started her periods on saturday evenings and ended her periods on Tuesday so we had unprotected sex on Friday morning and after sex I gave her I pill is she safe from pregnancy
Female | 27
Starting on a Saturday and closing on Tuesday is a typical cycle. In addition, having unprotected sex near the period can result in pregnancy. After sex, you can give her a morning-after pill; this will lower but not eliminate the chances of conception. Remember, every instance of unprotected intercourse carries with it the risk of becoming pregnant. Should she develop any strange signs or miss her next period, the best thing would be to take a test at home or go see a gynecologist who will provide further help.

What is the difference between postinor 2 bleeding and implantation bleeding?
Female | 19
Postinor 2 menstrual bleeding is a common secondary pro-ecpemption reaction associated with emergency contraceptive use, which is usually heavier that implantation bleeds. An implantation bleeding is when a fertilized egg attaches to the uterus and it usually appears as light pink or brown spotting. In case of any abnormal bleeding, one should consult a gynecologist for medical consultation.

I am 31 and I am 40 days pregnant. I am working in a school as a teacher. Is it safe to continue my job? I need to climb up the stairs in working hours. Is there any harm? Please suggest
Female | 31
At 40 days, the unborn baby is still small but securely growing in the womb. It's important to reduce stress on your body during this stage. Climbing stairs is fine as long as you don't feel dizzy, tired, or experience any pain. Listen to your body and take it easy. If you have any concerns or unusual symptoms, talk to your gynecologist.

I am an 18 year old female and a couple months ago I broke my virginity and we didn't use a condom, the second time I had sex with this person we used a condom but after the outside of my vergina starts to itch. It would itch every now and then but it wasn't bad. The third time I did it with this person we didn't use any condom and we did it in a spontaneous spot and after that the itching got worse. I don't know what to do could you please give me some advice on how to stop this. (please keep in mind that all 3 times was with the same person. Oh and by the way what I mean by the outside is the clit area)
Female | 18
Yeast infection might be why your clitoris itches. When the pH balance of your vagina changes—usually after having unprotected sex—this can occur. To relieve the itching, try using over-the-counter antifungal creams or ask for a prescription from a doctor. To avoid getting infections, always use condoms during sex.

It could be due to some reasons including hormonal imbalances, infections or even abnormalities of chromosomes in the fetus. The best course of action is to visit a gynecologist or obstetrician for a comprehensive exam and the identification of the possible causes to avoid further complications in the future pregnency

So, I have been to a urogynecologist and she thinks I have an overactive bladder. I have had this sensation like I'm leaking. I feel like I leak while I'm standing, sitting, or bending really much at any time. Well, today I had to go to the bathroom and when I pulled down my pants white stuff went on the floor. But, When I urinated in the toilet it was yellow. I am wondering if the leaking feeling I have is just a discharge. I did go to the er for back pain and they said I have sciatica.
Female | 23
What you saw on the floor as a white substance may be discharge, but it is vital to eliminate other possible sources. I would recommend that you visit your urogynecologist for an accurate diagnosis and the appropriate treatment plan.

I have late periods issue and severe mood swings
Female | 25
Your periods can get delayed, along with intense mood shifts due to hormonal imbalance. Hormones act like messengers, when they're off-kilter, your cycle and emotions are impacted. Stress, diet, and certain conditions too can trigger these issues. To regulate cycle and mood swings, reduce stress, eat balanced meals, and consult a gynecologist for assessment and advice.
