Hello, The procedure cost and duration of the hair transplant process depends on which hair transplant procedure you opt for. You mentioned that you are on the 3rd stage of Alopecia, but there are different types of alopecia. Also, some alopecias are permanent and have no solution. So it is important to determine which type of alopecia are you suffering from. Types of Alopecia:

  1. Alopecia Areata (patchy): This type of alopecia occurs in one or more coin-sized patches on the scalp. It may convert into alopecia totalis (hair loss across the scalp) or alopecia universalis (hair loss across the entire body).
  2. Persistent patchy alopecia areata: In this alopecia, the patchy scalp and hair loss continues over a long period of time without developing into extensive alopecia areata.
  3. Alopecia Totalis: This results in hair loss across the scalp.
  4. Alopecia Universalis: This alopecia is the most advanced one than alopecia totalis. This type of alopecia results in hair loss across the entire scalp and face (including eyebrows and eyelashes), plus the rest of the body.

Ingrown nail. Looking for dermatologist

Male | 23

In case of an ingrown nail, it is recommended to visit a dermatologist. They can evaluate the severity of the other ingrown nail, provide its proper care and offer treatment alternatives. In mild cases, soaking the affected area in warm water and lifting gently under the ingrown edge may work. On the contrary, in case of more severe ingrown nail or recurrent one surgical intervention is indicated. Do not try to deal with it yourself to avoid complications or infections. The healthcare professional should be consulted for proper treatment specific to your case.

I want to know about genital warts

Female | 25

Genital warts result from a virus which spreads via sex; they resemble tiny bumpy growths and may appear pink or flesh-colored, sometimes causing itchiness or pain. A dermatologist should be consulted for treatment; this could involve prescribing a cream or carrying out procedures to remove them. The use of protection during sexual activity can help prevent their transmission.

Allergic reactions to antibiotics are a common issue, resulting in itching or welts on the body. It is essential to stop using the antibiotic at once and see a doctor. An allergist or an immunologist is going to be able to diagnose and manage the allergy.

I am using salicylic acid cleanser and niacinamide serum. Does using orange peel paste once a week affects skin or will it get along with salicylic acid and niacinamide skin care routine

Female | 22

This is a safe approach if you include orange peel paste in your skin care regime once per week. However, one must be aware that it could irritate or sensitize the skin in some cases. Be sure to do a patch test with the orange peel paste before using it along side salicylic acid cleanser and niacinamide serumand if any adverse reaction occurs, then stop its use.

Pigmentation is not treated quickly. It takes a while for treatments to work. But you can visit a dermatologist and discuss this. Based on your particular condition, he may suggest some alternative treatments that may work for you like chemical peels, laser treatments, topical creams etc. Hope this helps.

There is pain in my One tip of nipple for 2 weeks If i touches it Please what is the reason for it

Male | 20

Infections, injuries, or even a blocked milk duct could be responsible for this. Nipple pain might also be caused by hormonal changes at times. Over-the-counter pain relievers can be used to relieve the pain but if it persists, see a doctor.

I am 20 years old female and have moles and scars on face so I request you to suggest best treatment for removal moles and scars and my face's skin is sensitive and oily.

Female | 20

There are a few treatments available to help remove moles and scars on the face. The best treatment for you will depend on the severity of your moles and scars.

For milder cases of moles and scars, over-the-counter topical creams and ointments can be used. These products typically contain retinol, collagen, hyaluronic acid, and other ingredients that help to reduce the appearance of moles and scars.

For more severe cases, you may need to consider laser treatments or chemical peels. Laser treatments help to remove moles and scars by targeting and destroying the cells that cause them. Chemical peels help to remove scars and moles by removing the outer layers of skin, causing the skin to heal with a smoother, more even appearance.

It is important to note that these treatments require a professional to administer them, so be sure to consult with a dermatologist to determine the best treatment for your skin. Additionally, it is important to note that these treatments may cause redness, swelling, and even scarring, so it is important to be aware of the potential risks before proceeding.
