Your blurry vision is a symptom of uveitis relapse. Uveitis is the swelling of the eye's interior that leads to vision blurring, eye ache, and light sensitivity. Make an appointment with your eye specialist to restart the procedure and prevent further complications.

I have myopia, I wanna go glassfree
Female | 24
Based on the symptoms you are telling, your diagnosis is myopia which means you cannot see things at a distance. Myopia develops due to a phenomenon where the eyeball becomes longer or the cornea is more curved. This is due to the light focusing in front of the retina instead of directly on it. One alternative to lenses that you may want to try is contact lenses or corrective surgery. These methods enable you to see better without wearing spectacles. However, it is important to consult an ophthalmologist for a suitable treatment.

Retina detachment in Left eye doctor says hole occurs in retina screen , opretion must compalsary, but after operation results possibility 50% Is results possibility 100% after operation
Male | 70
The detachment of the retina could lead to symptoms such as the perception of flashes of light or having blurred vision. Surgical hole repair in the retina is the procedure that should be carried out. Post-operation, there is a 50% probability that the results will be better. Occasionally, the success rate can be 100%, but it is not a sure thing. However, it is very crucial to stick to your doctor's directions and take proper care of your eye after the surgery.

Why my eyes are red and feeling weak and pain in all over body
Male | 21
You probably have the flu, a virus that spreads easily. Flu makes your eyes red and irritated. It causes weakness and body aches too. These comes from your immune system fighting the virus. Get lots of rest, drink fluids, and take pain meds. That can help you feel better soon.

I have specs . My vision in right eye is 6/12 and in left eye is 6/6 . I have been wearing specs for 1 year, and now I have a doubt about it . Should I wear my specs full time ? Or should I wear them while reading, writing or using phone and TV? If I use my specs full time with a minor problem like this ( I think so) will it lead to a condition where I can't see anything without specs? This has been a concern for about a week now . Please help me with this.
Male | 16
According to your vision prescription, wearing spectacles every single day is the way to go. It enables your eyes to coordinate better and reduces the possibility of strain, which is particularly important when doing activities such as reading, writing, or using screens. The spectacle usage regularly you wear wouldn't make your eyesight worsen; it only allows you to see better. If you have any new symptoms or concerns, like headaches or blurry vision, reach out to an eye specialist.

I had a plants poked my left eye yesterday, currently my eye can blink and can see. It did not injured my cornea but above my eyeball. Today it still feels uncomfortable, not as pain as yesterday and still bearable. Do I need to use antibiotics drops or is there any other medication I can buy over the counter?
Female | 26
The issue seems to be a trivial one, like a plant that has poked your eye. This feeling may include redness, discomfort, and a gritty feeling. As you have no injury to the cornea, antibiotics are not needed. If your eye is puffy, you may get relief from using artificial tears to drop your eye. In case the discomfort continues or worsens, you should visit an eye doctor.

Kya cataract ki surgery karane se meri eyes sahi ho jaye gi ?? Bina operation ke eye thik nahi hosakti h kya??
Female | 21
The results of eye surgery can be helpful for your vision. Generally, when your eyes suffer from cataracts, you may tend to see things more or less, have problems with color, and even have trouble with night vision. Cataracts are the result of the lens of the eye becoming cloudy. The surgery involves removing the cloudy lens and replacing it with a clear artificial one. This stuff can make you see better.

Hello, I would like to ask does masturbation cause glaucoma or blindness?
Female | 35
Masturbation has nothing to do with glaucoma or blindness. The eye pressure causing some visual disturbance is glaucoma. One of the most common activities in human life is masturbation, in which people do not harm their health. If this is the case for you, if you notice hazy vision or experience eye pain, go to your eye doctor for the right diagnosis and treatment.

My vision blacks out when I wake up in the morning
Female | 19
Sometimes, you may experience darkness when opening your eyes after sleeping. This happens due to decreased blood pressure upon standing, causing less oxygen to reach your brain temporarily. Simply rising slowly, stretching gently, can help avoid this condition. If it persists, consulting a ophthalmologist proves wise to ensure no underlying causes exist.

I am 20yeayears old female,i have blur about a month and I have not taken any medicine, what should I do
Female | 20
Blurry eyesight can happen for different reasons. It could be from looking at computers for too long, or it could mean our eyes need more tears. We feel better when we use some eye drops. Blurry eyes could also mean bigger problems like diabetes. Diabetes makes sugar levels change in our bodies, which can affect our eyesight. Headaches called migraines can make vision blurry too. If your eyes stay blurry, you should see an eye specialist.

Right side eye not visible blur
Male | 66
Some reasons for this include having an infection in one’s eye(s), getting hurt somehow or trouble with the blood vessels within them. While these may serve as signs indicating when things such as these are happening:
- If you’re in pain then your eyes could be affected
- Redness around the affected part could show a problem also exists there.
- Being sensitive to light may be another issue altogether.
Please visit an eye doctor for further treatment.

I am suddenly seeing floaters in my vision and a little pain in the back of the eye, especially the left one. Eyes were perfectly normal around 2 weeks ago. I am not seeing any flashes of light or distorted vision, it is just fast moving floaters. I didn't do anything that would cause injury to my eyes. What it could be?
Female | 21
You may be suffering from posterior vitreous detachment (PVD). The reason for this is when the gel-like structure in your eye gradually departs from the retina thus causing floaters. The aching in the back of your eye could be the result of a process that is abrasive to the area. The good news is that PVD often gets better on its own. However, you need to see an eye doctor to confirm there are no complications.

What to do eye discharge at home
Female | 64
Your eye produces discharge, an icky substance. This goo or crust often appears yellowish or greenish. Common causes include infections, allergies, and blocked tear ducts. At home, moisten a clean cloth with warm water. Gently wipe your eye, keeping it tidy. However, if symptoms worsen or cause pain, visit an eye specialist.

Hello, I'm 16 years old. Since yesterday at 12 PM Spanish time, I've been experiencing small spasms in my lower left eyelid. They feel like muscle contractions, usually sudden and occurring every 20 seconds, with about 10 to 15 contractions per spasm. I don't think there's any underlying issue as I don't have sleep problems, stress, haven't consumed caffeine or alcohol, and I don't feel tired. I would greatly appreciate the help; it's not painful but very annoying.
Male | 16
These spasms might happen because of stress, tiredness, or too much time spent staring at screens. Ensure that you rest your eyes, get enough sleep, and try massaging gently to relieve tension from the muscles around them. If they persist or get worse then it would be wise to talk with an eye specialist for more advice.

Optic atrophy due to be retinitis pigmentosa
As per my understanding, you want to know whether retinitis pigmentosa can lead to optic atrophy. Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is rare degenerative disease affecting the rod photoreceptors in the retina. The optic disc in RP may show optic atrophy, usually defined as a 'waxy pallor' of the disc, and is assumed to be a due of photoreceptor degeneration. Consult an ophthalmologist to rule out the cause in your case and to also guide you for further course of management. You can refer - Best Ophthalmologists in India, to sought consultation!

Dry eye problem. Watering eyes, blurry vision, burning
Male | 26
Dry eye occurs when your eyes do not produce adequate tears or the tears are poor quality. It can lead to watery eyes, blurred vision, and a burning sensation. Potential causes include aging, certain medications, or extended screen time. To help alleviate symptoms, use artificial tears, avoid smoke exposure, and take breaks from screens. Additionally, frequent blinking can help keep your eyes moisturized.

When I work out at the gym, my eye starts to swell after the workout. I consulted an eye specialist, who said it’s an allergy. However, when I jog or walk outside, nothing happens. In the gym, if I lift weights, even light ones, my eye starts to swell later. When I do floor exercises like push-ups, I feel like there's a foreign object in my eye, causing a twitching sensation. This only happens with exercises that involve pressure.looking like muscle weakness. It also happens after swimming. This issue never occurred before, and I’ve been doing these activities for the past four years without any problems. I have consulted various doctors and spent a lot of money, but I have not found a solution.
Male | 24
You might be having allergic reactions triggered by your exercise. When you do certain workouts at the gym, like lifting weights or floor exercises, your eye swells up. This could be due to allergens at the gym or materials from the equipment. It's good that outdoor activities don't cause this problem. To prevent the symptoms, try wearing protective eyewear (goggles) at the gym or using antihistamine eye drops before you work out. It's a good idea to consult with an allergist for a complete evaluation and management plan.
