Went to urgent care yesterday morning for fever, aches, and chills with no other symptoms. They gave me antibiotics for UTI. Having back pain that’s making me nauseous. Should I go to the ER?
Female | 37
You're dealing with back pain and nausea after a UTI treatment. Back pain combined with nausea could indicate a kidney infection. Kidney infections require quick attention. Going to the ER for an evaluation might be wise. They can diagnose the issue and provide the proper treatment.

Im 5 feet 7 inch tall and i want to gain at least 4 inchs is it possible
Male | 25
Gaining 4 inches in height after reaching adulthood is highly unlikely and practically impossible through natural means.. While there are surgical procedures like Limb lengthening that can increase height artificially, they are highly invasive, expensive, and carry significant risks, making them an unsuitable option for most people. Moreover, 4 inches of heught increase cannot be gauranteed.

Hey there, a virgo here (one of those people still believing in the value of marriage (only it's delayed to some degree) and what comes with it. This isn't meant as passing judgement but to avoid at times hurtful snarky remarks from DR.'s (unbelievable)) That sounds weird to open with it, however it is a vital info). I have been this past few months under a lot of stress at work, including very late remote computer work at night (until 3, even 5am) and dealing with unpleasant people(oh fun:)), my diet was indeed less leaning into the veggies and fruit. What brings me here seeking your advice? My period is sure taking its time (think it's around 54 days since beginning of last menstruation, so it's considered by now missed I guess.)gravitaain between nconstipatiaiton nto normalal to having this one tiimem momentaraty stomach ahache annd diarreah aiwiwith a miild passing fever). Last month regular blood work showed normal iron and HB levels. However, despite being within normal range the ferritin levels were at the minimum level while transferrin on the maximum level within its range. Had some more acne than usual (occasional small pimples on back of hands (a relatively new phenomenon from past years (with the increased stress and worries), ear, chest back face neck. Nothing too severe not a lot either (not as I used to) because I try and treat it keeping it at bay (but a bit more than usual, also not as usual in their location (nonetheless important). My question is what sort of test should I be asking, what sort of blood test to get to the bottom of it, and what should I do also to not augment stress that does not (!) help the situation? Please I'd appreciate your reply
Female | 38
Based on the symptoms you've described, it's possible that your delayed period and gastrointestinal issues could be related to stress and dietary changes. It's important to rule out any underlying medical conditions. I would recommend scheduling an appointment with a gynecologist to discuss your missed period and any potential hormonal imbalances. Also you need to consult with a gastroenterologist to evaluate your gastrointestinal symptoms. Avoiding stressors as much as possible and maintaining a healthy diet and exercise routine may also help alleviate your symptoms.

Male | 17
It is not normal to experience leg and back pain, along with twitching or nerve pain, when you already diagnosed with epilepsy and anxiety. These symptoms may not directly related to your smoking habits, but they could also be symptoms of a more serious condition. Please consult a neurologist. They can diagnose and treat any underlying medical condition.

I am 19 yr male i put full bottle of 100 ml of 10 % povidone iodine 1% available iodine in my shoes and put my both foot into it for 30 minutes then washed with water after 30 minutes the area that came in contact with povidone iodine was from ankle to sole of foot will I get iodine toxicity
Male | 19
Soaking feet in povidone iodine for half an hour shouldn't cause toxicity. Washing it off afterward is normal. Stomach pain, vomiting, or metallic taste in the mouth indicate iodine toxicity. However, these symptoms are unlikely from your brief exposure. Avoid prolonged soaking in the future.

I am skinny and the problem is weakness
Female | 40
Some possible culprits are not eating enough food, missing out on key nutrients, or being too active. To build up your strength, eat well-rounded meals that include fruits, vegetables, protein sources like meat or beans as well as whole grains such as brown rice or whole wheat bread. Try to do some light exercises too. If none of this works, talk with a doctor about it.

Chest problem for 1month please ask me a good medicine
Male | 14
You've had chest issues for a month. That's difficult. Coughing, tightness, pain, breathing problems - those are chest problem signs. Pneumonia, a lung infection, could be why. See a doctor for antibiotics to get better. Rest, drink liquids, use a humidifier - those help too.
