A situation of irregular periods could suddenly arise due to factors such as stress, fluctuations in hormone levels, or even a change in routine. In fact, sometimes periods may be a little irregular. It is advisable to consult a gynecologist immediately if you have other odd problems and bleeding too.

You may be suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction. The issue can occur in people of different ages, not only married ones. I had missed my periods but pregnancy test is negative
Female | 20
It can be confusing to miss your periods when a pregnancy test shows negative, but there are some explanations. One possible cause is stress. Rapid weight changes could also lead to this. Hormonal problems or too much exercise may be behind it as well. In some cases, medicines might make you miss them too. Record what symptoms occur each time and see a gynecologist if they keep happening so that the cause can be determined.

I had sex on third day of my periods with protection and my menstrual cycle is regular always ....so pregnancy happen??
Female | 21
Getting pregnant if you have sex during your period is very rare. Your period indicates the egg isn't present. If your cycle is regular, your chances are low. Even so, some exceptions exist. That's why protection matters every single time to keep pregnancy and STI risks away. If you experience unusual symptoms or feel concerned, speak with a gynecologist for personal suggestions.

You're experiencing a late period of two weeks and feeling nauseous, but pregnancy tests are showing negative results. This can be concerning, especially at age 37. Additionally, you take sertraline and fexofenadine for chronic hives, which can sometimes affect your menstrual cycle. Other factors, such as stress, hormone imbalance, or health issues, might also be the cause. I suggest consulting your gynecologist to discuss your symptoms and explore possible next steps for diagnosis and treatment.

It's okay to sometimes have a period that only runs for 2 days. It might be due to stress, hormonal imbalance, or maybe some changes in birth control whether you are starting or stopping. I have been suffering from heavy periods since my son was born 6 years ago. I know I have fibroids, but it hasn't been looked at since that time. I'm getting lower back pain, tummy feels on the heavier side and I have put on weight which I'm finding difficult to lose. I feel bloated all the time and it's having an impact on my daily life. What options do I have?
Female | 42
According to your symptoms, the troublesome periods and related bloating may be the result of the fibroids that you are already aware of. Fibroids are non-cancerous growths that are found in the uterus and they can be responsible for heavy bleeding and pressure on the nearby organs, resulting in weight gain and discomfort. To tackle this, you should visit a gynecologist for a check-up and discuss the treatment options including medication or surgery.

If your period is two days late, don’t panic. It could be due to stress, sudden weight loss, or hormonal changes. If you're sexually active, consider pregnancy as a possibility. Wait a couple more days, and if your period still doesn’t start, take a home pregnancy test to confirm. If late periods become a recurring issue, consult a gynecologist for further guidance.
