Why is my ankle rash growing rapidly and itchy?
I'm 25 years old and have developed a rash on my ankle. It started really small and has increased massively since returning from holiday. It's extremely itchy and uncomfortable.

You have developed contact dermatitis. This is a condition caused when the skin reacts to something it has touched, such as a new lotion or plant. The affected area usually becomes red, swollen, and itchy with small blisters or hives. Try to remember if there was anything different that you came into contact with before the rash appeared. To relieve itching apply cold compresses and mild lotions. If there are no changes after several days, see a dermatologist for help.

I am 14 years old and I have a terrible BO which really never goes away. I also sweat a lot, like excessive. I’ve used strong antiperspirant but that did not work at all. I don’t eat spicy food. I shower every day, I’ve tried different acids like salicylic acid, glycolic and so on but not that worked. What do I do?
Female | 14
You have been experiencing heavy sweating and body odor. My suggestion is to consult with a dermatologist who can assess and address your sweat and odor issues.

Male | 18
A random pink lump adjacent to the pubic area could be an ingrown hair or a cyst. It would be wise to have it checked out by a dermatologist or a gynecologist to rule out any other disorders.

Not taking proper food for so long can damage your body severely. The symptoms you talked about, for instance, your constant feeling cold and desire for hot water all the time, could indicate you are suffering from something serious such as malnutrition or damaged organs. You are supposed to go to specialists for diagnosed tests and treatments. You have to understand that it's not too late to get good treatment and work towards being healthy.

There are signs of a leg infection. Redness, swelling, itching, fluid show it. A cut or bug bite causes infections. An antibiotic cream helps clear infections. Medication also helps. Keep the leg area dry, clean.

Hi I am a 35 year old woman , I have very annoying spots all around my behind area and I don't know how to get rid of them.
Female | 35
You might be dealing with a common issue called acne. The back can easily get acne due to things like friction from clothes, sweating, or clogged hair follicles. To treat these spots, keep the area clean and dry, wear loose clothing, and use over-the-counter acne treatments with benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid.

Female | 23
Sometimes, people develop irritation or acne in intimate areas after using hair removal products like Veet. This could result from an allergic reaction or sensitive skin. The short hairs left behind might irritate, causing breakouts. Try using a gentle, fragrance-free soap to cleanse the area gently. Avoid Veet and similar products there. If issues persist, consult a dermatologist for guidance.

Hi I am taking esomeprazole, lipitor, lisinopril, citalopram and ropinerole. I want to know if it it safe to take anti sweat tablets. Thank you
Female | 59
Sweating is your body's natural way to cool down. Certain medications can increase sweat production as a side effect or be symptoms of underlying medical conditions. Anti-sweat tablets reduce sweat secretion but may interact with your current medications. It's crucial to consult your doctor for a safe solution. They can adjust your medications or suggest alternative treatments to address the root cause of your sweating. Always communicate openly with your doctor about any concerns or changes in your medication regimen to ensure your health is prioritized.

My skin is getting dark , I want to glow my skin and I want to reduce my white hair
बुरी तरह | 27
Darkening of the skin and white hair are often the first signs of aging. Sun exposure and certain medications may be the causes of the skin color becoming darker. Gray hair may appear if the pigment cells in the hair follicles stop producing color. Sunscreen and drinking water can make your skin agile and healthy. Moreover, eating well can be a good measure. For white hair, stress management and a well-balanced diet are helpful. Visit a dermatologist if you are concerned.

Male | 25
Scars are a reminder of where the skin was damaged, and they can be stubborn. You've tried various methods, but they didn't completely clear your scars. Each person is unique, and treatments work differently for everyone. It's important to follow your dermatologist's guidance. Scars fade slowly, so don't lose hope.

I have red dots on my shaft (penis) and I can't figure out what they are, I've looked at pictures (regrettably) and none of them look like what I have. My first thought was pimples/acne, because I haven't had a good shower schedule nor have I had a good diet, but they don't look like pimples, they have black dots in the middle. I don't think it's itchy, at least the 4-5 bumps on the shaft, but I have maybe 2 or 3 on my scrotum that itch though. I thought bugs might be the issue but I've thoroughly checked my room and there are none. In terms of how they look, they're red, no white, 1 has black in the middle (maybe a growing hair?). I don't think it's any STIs since me and my girlfriend haven't had sex/sexual contact in months, it doesnt look like most of the ones i looked up, and this is only appearing now. I just don't know what to do about this and I need help diagnosing since I don't have the money for a doctors appointment.
Male | 18
It seems you're showing some alarming symptoms. The red bumps with black centers may be due to folliculitis (inflamed hair follicles), burn or a mild fungal disorder. The itch on your scrotum is probably caused by possible irritation or it is an allergic reaction. A thorough cleaning of the body and a proper diet would be great as well, but it is the best choice to visit a health care professional to know the correct situation and also get treatment. They have the capability to provide the relevant care and the necessary reassurance. As health should be your priority, always think about getting assistance when you have a problem.

Your symptoms indicate you could have angioedema. It leads to unexpected lip swelling. Redness and soreness accompany this condition. Discoloration inside your mouth, and swollen nose tip too, might relate. At times, teeth issues and joint pain happen. Avoiding triggers like certain foods or medicines is wise. Using a cold compress can ease swelling. If it persists, see a dermatologist. They'll assess and treat it properly.

It sounds as if your mother has eczema. Eczema can make the skin itchy, red, and inflamed. It can be due to dry skin, irritants, or allergies. To alleviate eczema, moisturize the skin, avoid strong soaps, and use the prescribed creams from the dermatologist. In some cases, the doctor may suggest antihistamines to mitigate itching.

Mera skin oily aur wrinkles hai kya kon sa medicine use kare please guide
Male | 28
It’s crucial to treat a combination of oily and wrinkled skin with great attention. Your skin turning oily can lead to blocked pores and acne. Wrinkles can be formed from aging and your skin receiving too much sunlight. Cleansing your oily skin can be aided by using a mild cleanser and an oil-free moisturizer. For wrinkles, contemplate using products that have both retinol and hyaluronic acid. Protect your skin by putting on sunscreen when the sun is out.
