Why is a painful lump growing in my tonsils?
I’m a 16 year old female with a huge red lump growing from inside of my tonsils. The lump is hard and I can see (and touch) where it starts when growing from my tonsils. It’s extremely painful to swallow or speak, the pain on a scale of 1-10 is 9.

Hello i am 18 yrs old and i think i am having an ear infection on my ear, i was scratching my outer ear and injured it and later on i am feeling pressure on my ear, theres no pain or whatsever and theres a pus or wax but not that much nor draining on my ear, it started on march 24 and i havent go to doctor yet since im poor

I have been using sudafed nasal spray for about 5 days for a nasal drip. I stopped yesterday and have been feeling extremely congested like my sinus is swollen. Could this be rebound congestion? I've been using sinus rinse and a little relief but just feels like there could be some swelling

You could be suffering from rebound congestion. This is common when people use nasal sprays such as Sudafed for more than a couple of days. It may cause you to have swollen nasal passages with a feeling of being more congested. The saline sinus rinse is excellent at relieving the swelling. It's best to avoid overusing the nasal spray to prevent rebound congestion.

Hi I am 21yr old female,been suffering from severe ear pain as I put wax off drops continuously which caused SOM infection in my ear as the doctor prescribed I have been taking Azithromycin, accelofenac and levocetrizine even after taking all these medicine There is constant pain in my ear How to get relief from it ??

For a few days I have been experiencing pain in the upper part of the right ear, meaning the right side of the head. Then swelling just above the ear. Pain in the ear, pain behind the ear, pain in the jaw and neck. Now blocked ears and headache, neck and toothache. On the right side of the head means there is a swelling above the ear. Hello, I'm 20 years old and my voice stopped developing around 16, so I speak in a high voice for my age. When I speak quietly, it's fine, but when I have to speak more loudly, the voice is very unpleasant for me and those around me. Since I'm about to do a job that requires a normal voice, I need to sort this out. I visited the ENT and she checked my vocal cords. The doctor said that the vocal cords are completely healthy and I should try different voice exercises. So since then, I try to speak in the lowest possible voice in public and at every opportunity, but no change is manifested. I've also found that I've been developing a second voice for several years now that sounds male to me. But I can't talk to him automatically, and when I try, it gets annoying after a while. What can I do?

I am having cough which looks more allergic. And phlegm and wheezing sound only appears when I coughs. It's like someone is choking you when you have the cough. It really hurts my throat and head while coughing. And sometimes maybe due to my panic, cough results in cough syncope. I also have antral gastritis. I have been diagnosed with bronchitis 6 months back. My chest Xray shows only small prominence in right lungs and rest is normal. CT is normal, XRay is normal. Only my TLC count is elavated to 17000 and however eosphil and basophil count is normal. I am slightly anemic. According to my doc, my body is unable to absorb iron. My O2 and BP all are normal during my cough episode. However, I feel tremor throughout my body and sometimes my hands and legs become pale while I cough. I am perfectly normal if I don't have the cough episodes. I also has slight GERD maybe due to antral gastritis.
