Could spotting after protected sex indicate pregnancy for hypothyroid patients?
I'm having spotting today..I had sex with my partner..but he didn't insert his penis...the semen was spread outside..so in doubt I took ginger and papaya leaf..I'm also a hypothyroidism patient..is it a sign of pregnancy...and if so is it safe to take i-pill

Women may experience light spotting after sex, especially if their period is approaching. This is normal and not always a sign of pregnancy. Irregular periods can also be caused by mental health issues linked to hypothyroidism. While ginger and papaya are commonly used herbs, they are not reliable for preventing pregnancy. If you're worried about pregnancy, you can consider taking an emergency pill like the i-pill.

Had unprotected non penetrative sex (wearing underwear) on day 8 of menstrual cycle. Started vaginal bleeding that lasts only few minutes on day 17 and day 19 (12-10 days before periods) (Did not happen on day 18). First bleeding started with red color then started spotting brown. Confused whether it's spotting before periods or implantation bleeding.
Female | 20
It is impossible to know whether the bleeding occurred because of premenstrual spotting or implantation blood without a physical examination. To get a clear idea, plz visist a gynecologist

My periods are on one day only
Female | 30
One-day periods are often linked to hormone shifts, stress, or medical issues. Light spotting, cramps, and irregular cycles might occur. Managing stress through yoga, and deep breaths can assist. Having a nutritious diet and staying hydrated can also help. If the problem doesn't stop, consult a gynecologist for advice.

I am 32 years old I wanted to consult a gynecologist I have missed my periods and wanted to know when to take pregnancy test??
Female | 32
Remember that not having periods could happen for many different reasons, one of which is being pregnant. If you missed your period, it would be good to wait for at least a week after its due date before doing a pregnancy test. This gives enough time for the body to create the pregnancy hormone that the test detects. If the result shows positive, ensure to see a gynecologist for further advice.

Pregnancy symptoms normally do not appear until a few weeks after unprotected sex. Nevertheless, if you are experiencing some stress, you might want to take a pregnancy test around 3 weeks after the sex.

The lumps you mentioned seeing around your private parts may be genital warts. They are caused by a virus known as HPV that can be transmitted through sexual contact. Even with protection, one can get HPV. To deal with this, you need to see a gynecologist who will diagnose you properly and suggest treatment options.

Hello I'm 18 years old . A month ago I started taking hormones pills like endsist and krimson 35 prescribed by my doctor. This month instead of having periods I'm having just spotting. Is it serious. I have missed the doses twice or thrice
Female | 18
It's quite common to experience some changes during the initial stage of consuming hormones such as endsist and Krimson 35. Here the spotting you would encounter can be underscored in several different ways. The usual case is that your body is responding well to these hormones. Skipping a few doses could also have an impact on your menstrual cycle. If the spotting is prolonged or occurs along with other symptoms like pain, directly speak to your gynecologist. They will provide the best way to handle it.

If chymozip plus tablet is there any side effects for breastfeeding mothers and kids
Female | 26
Chymozip plus pills can produce detrimental effects on both mothers and their breastfed infants. For mothers, these effects include stomach pain, diarrhea, or allergies. However, it is found that the infant's tummy troubles or even skin rash are among the side effects. My strongest advice, however, is to consult your gynecologist before taking any medication while breastfeeding. They might suggest some other meds that are safer for you and your baby.

My last period.was on 17.September I had a positive pregnancy test but my ultrasound shows.the.fetus.is.4.weeks.old,it should've.been 7.weeks.by now, Why is.the.baby not growing properly
Female | 24
I would recommend that you see an obstetrician right away. Slow fetal growth may signal a potential miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Tests and ultrasounds can be run by an obstetrician in order to find the core of this problem. Thus, it is crucial to seek help from an expert obstetrician who can provide the correct diagnosis and treatment.

In this february, I suddenly missed the period. My thyroid is normal. My usg uterus report is also normal..i am not pregnant. I gained weight 15 kg. What is the reason??
Female | 26
Not having your period when you're not expecting can occur for various reasons. One common factor is weight gain, especially significant like 15 kg. Rapid weight increase sometimes disrupts hormones causing irregular periods. Maintaining a healthy weight through a proper diet and exercise is key. If irregular periods persist, consulting a gynecologist for evaluation is wise.

I'm 18 old female. Last month I had my period and at the same time I had fever so the doctor gave me medications and injection for fever, that time I had light periods. After stopping the medicines, I had bleeding for 3 days which soaked half of the pad. So I took meprate for 23days as one of my doctors advised me. Since 2 days I am not having the meprate tablet and experiencing symptoms like cramps, headache, nausea, bloating. Also I had protected sex 6 weeks ago, but we are sure that he did not inseminate. Im worried about my health, I'm facing pregnancy symptoms but I don't think I'm a pregnant. I was also diagnosed with pcod 1year ago.
Female | 18
Your symptoms, such as cramps, headaches, nausea, and bloating, could have various causes. The bleeding after stopping Meprate might be related to your PCOD. Since you had protected sex, pregnancy is unlikely if there was no insemination. Take care of yourself, stay hydrated, and if your symptoms persist, consider discussing them with gynecologist.

period pain since 16 but not come what to do my date is 19-20
Female | 23
It is entirely natural to have period pain, including if your period has not yet come. This period of pain represents the ups and downs our body goes through with hormones as they change. A warm bath or a warm water bag on the tummy can be used to ease the pain. If pain gets too severe or you have any further worries; contact a gynecologist.
