Why am I experiencing sinus problems and treatment options?
I've been experiencing sinus problems, such as congestion, pressure, and possibly sinus infections. What could be the underlying cause, and what are my treatment options?

You could have sinus issues. When your sinuses are blocked or inflamed, you may end up with congestion, pressure, and even infections. The most common reasons are allergies, infections, or structural problems in your sinuses. Treatment methods can encompass nasal decongestants, saline rinses, steam inhalation, or antibiotics if there is an infection. Besides, you can also replenish the fluids in your body and use a humidifier for symptom relief. If your symptoms don't go away, you should see an ENT doctor for a proper diagnosis and a customized treatment plan.

I am a 17 male who is visiting France from the US. I just got to France yesterday, but was in UK for 9 days before that. Yesterday, my dad started experiencing symptoms, and today, my mom, my sister, and I are all experiencing symptoms as well. My main symptom is sore throat and difficulty swallowing. As a tourist, our options are limited. I have started taking OTC Humex Rhume to help with symptoms.

I have been experiencing throat pain on my left side since few weeks … I have tachycardia I am on beta blockers , my doctor said for a ultrasound of neck in which level 3 10 into 6 mm benign nodes with maintained fatty hilum . But since few weeks I have pain and I also feel something is stuck and I have ear pain sometimes with toothache

Hello i am 18 yrs old and i think i am having an ear infection on my ear, i was scratching my outer ear and injured it and later on i am feeling pressure on my ear, theres no pain or whatsever and theres a pus or wax but not that much nor draining on my ear, it started on march 24 and i havent go to doctor yet since im poor

Dear Doctor, I'm an 18-year-old male. About 15-16 days ago, I had a really bad cold with symptoms including a sore throat, headache, and fever. After 7-8 days, my cold symptoms healed, but I still had a sore throat, hoarse voice, a completely blocked right ear, and I was constantly coughing up green mucus. Four days ago, I visited a doctor and was prescribed moxifloxacin 400mg once a day for 5 days (today is day 3). While my coughing has generally decreased, I still have a sore throat and my right ear is still blocked, although it did briefly open for a few minutes yesterday. This has been ongoing for three weeks, and I'm starting to lose hope as I'm not sure what I have or if I'll get better. In addition to moxifloxacin, here are the other medications I'm currently taking: Nasacort AQ (once a day) - today is day 6 Phenadone (twice a day) - today is day 8 Nexium (once a day) - today is day 6 Ganaton (three times a day) - today is day 6 Seretide Accuhaler Diskus (twice a day) - today is day 8 Polymer Adult Hypertonic 3% (twice a day) - today is day 3 Could you please help me understand what might be causing these persistent symptoms and advise on any further steps I should take? Thank you for your assistance.

When someone coughs up green phlegm, that means they have an infection. Your condition may be because of a stubborn bacterial infection which will need more time to completely clear up. Take your medicine as prescribed and ensure you finish the full course of antibiotics.
