Baby Not Making Eye Contact: Possible Reasons

Mera baby eye contact nhi karta h

Answered on 26th June '24

Babies often don't look into people's eyes early on. Your baby never seems to make eye contact which could mean a "delayed eye contact" issue. There might be different reasons behind this behavior. It could take more time for eye contact skills to develop fully. However, it might also potentially relate to conditions such as autism spectrum disorders. Feeling unsure is understandable - consider discussing your observations candidly with your child's pediatrician

Hi so my son (age 4) has been sick vomiting the past couple of days. We thought it was a stomach bug cause I was also sick. But now I'm feeling better and he isn't. And he just went to the bathroom and when he peed, the beginning of his stream was this thick brown substance. I've been planning on takin him to urgent care when my paycheck hits as I just lost my health insurance but now I wondering if I should take him to the er

Vomiting and brown-colored urine aren't normal. Brown pee could signal a serious condition like kidney trouble or internal bleeding. Getting him checked out promptly is crucial. Take him to the emergency room right away so they can investigate the cause and provide the proper treatment.

When the body fights an infection, fever can occur. Signs that may point to a serious infection are vomiting and high fever. The injection given at the hospital may require time before its effects are seen. It's important to keep her hydrated and try cooling methods. If the fever persists, further doctor evaluation may be needed..

My daughter was bit by a dog tick what should I do I cleaned the area

Female | 5

Dog ticks are a nuisance. Watch for the signs you see: blood, itchiness, and a bump on the skin. Ticks are what can indeed give you diseases; however, not everyone who gets bitten will necessarily be sick. The best outcome you had was to wipe the area with a cloth. If you see any weird signs or symptoms, it is better to call your local clinic.

I have a daughter she is 14 months old she is a preterm baby born in 34 weeks 5 days she is responsive can talk some words like mama papa and all but not able to sit properly and walk sometime stiff her legs

Female | 1

It's good that your daughter is responsive and speaks some words. However, not sitting properly or stiffening her legs could indicate developmental issues. I recommend visiting a pediatric neurologist for a thorough evaluation and guidance on appropriate interventions.

My child age 2 years is diabetes patient and now she has more cough which medication will be useful.

Female | 2

A cough for a 2-year-old with diabetes is concerning. Illnesses can raise blood sugar. Higher levels may worsen the cough. Causes vary – could be a cold or allergies. For now, push fluids and rest. But if it persists or worsens, discuss it with the diabetes care team. They'll advise if child-safe cough medicine is appropriate. Importantly, monitor blood sugar closely during sickness.
