Is Cough in a 25-day-old Baby Normal?
My baby age 25 days old he suffer from cough
General Physician
Answered on 2nd July '24
Seeing your baby's cough is distressing. Colds or mild infections often cause infant coughing. Babies may also have a runny/stuffy nose. Keep them comfortable, elevating their head for sleeping. Use a bulb syringe to clear nasal congestion. Humidifiers add moisture, easing symptoms. However, if coughing persists or worsens, consult a pediatrician promptly.

My son 5 years old has 2 bacterial infections confirmed. H influenzae and staphylococcus aureus. The pediatrician we saw has given him tablets called unasyn 1 tablet 3 times a day. Our problem is that he is sicking the tablet up because he's never had tablets before. We have some other antibiotics at home called augmentin 400/57/5ml in liquid form. Are we able to transfer over to the augmentin liquid or will this not kill the bacterial infections he has.
Male | 5
Your worry about your child not taking tablets is understandable. H. influenzae and Staphylococcus aureus often infect kids. Augmentin liquid treats these bacteria too. Since you have it at home, the liquid form may suit your son better than tablets. Follow your pediatrician's dosage guide carefully. Complete the full course to eliminate the germs. If new symptoms appear or you have doubts, promptly consult your pediatrician.

My 11 year old girl is getting cramps on her middle finger atlist three times in a month and i have notice all her fingers is turning dark in color
Female | 11
The middle finger cramps and the darkening of all fingers sound uncomfortable. The reason is there may not be enough blood flow in the fingers. One common cause is Raynaud's disease, which is a disorder that affects blood flow. If the issue gets worse, talk to an orthopedist.

If you're concerned about your 1.5 year old son's genital development, it's essential to consult a pediatrician or pediatric urologist for an evaluation. Small or retracting testicles may be normal in some cases, but it's crucial to rule out conditions like undescended testicles or hernias.

Hi my baby is struggling to poop it's been 3weeks I even Change the formula but still he is 1month old he cry day and night
Male | 1 month
It seems like the kid is constipated. This is when they find it hard to pass stool. It may be due to the type of formula they are taking or insufficient intake of fluids. You can give them some water in between feeds or massage their stomach gently to relieve the discomfort. If it persists, it would be best for you to take them to a doctor who can check for any underlying problems.

Female | 3
For roughly 3 months your child has endured recurring fever episodes. Fever accompanied by joint discomfort can stem from various causes. However, a frequent reason in children is juvenile idiopathic arthritis. This ailment occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body's joints, resulting in inflammation and pain. Promptly schedule an appointment with a pediatrician for proper evaluation and treatment recommendations.

Which supplement is good to grow height after 16 in like 9-10 months??
Female | 17
You're considering height. Bones halt growth past age 16, so supplements cannot increase stature. Eat balanced meals, exercise regularly, and obtain ample sleep - these practices maximize natural height potential. If worried, discuss it with a medical professional. Maintain healthy habits.

My 1.7 year old boy sleep stomach side and move legs why
Other | 35
Sleeping on the tummy, legs moving - it is typical for a 1.7-year-old. They're getting more control over their little bodies, so the position feels comfy. And that leg motion? It might be self-soothing. Be sure their sleep space is safe from any risky objects. If you're worried, chat with your pediatrician about it.
