If the doctor suggested laparoscopic surgery then it means that he has prostate cancer. This kind of surgery is carried out by making small 5 incisions as opposed to a traditional surgery which would necessitate a very large incision, it also uses a special kind of camera to invade the patient's body so that it can help doctors get a clear picture of the state of their internal organs. It's less painful and barely requires a stay of 1-2 days, but it will have its own set of side effects post surgery which would be solved with not lifting anything heavy, having adequate walk & rest, and being on a liquid diet. He would be eligible for same only if the cancer isn't aggressive or if he doesn't has a history of open or laparoscopic pelvic surgery. Average cost may come around Rs.3,60,000. There are some options available for this kind of organ specific cancer treatment. We pray for his faster recovery & healing!

Female | 6

Crying is normal when frightened. To make the girl calmer, speak softly, give comfort, and explain the scans like taking a picture inside her body. Ask her parent to hold her hand or be close while it happens. This might help her feel safer. Giving her a favorite toy or music could also distract her from the scan's happenings.

My son is 6 year old. He is unable eat full meals. He complains he is full after eating half of the food especially rice. He is OK eating small meals. He says no non veg foods which he used to eat. I am seeing this issue especially after Covid for past 1 year . Should I worry about this? Should I just give more time? His weight is not at all increasing. He is at 22 for the past 1 year. His height has increased but becoming very lean. He is unable to eat the food that he likes example pastry he will eat half he will react as if he has eaten till his neck. Which specialist should I consult?

Male | 6

Your son seems to have eating troubles after Covid. This issue needs attention. Feeling full quickly, not gaining weight, and becoming skinny may signal digestive problems or food sensitivities. See a pediatric gastroenterologist for diagnosis and treatment plan. You're wise noticing his changed eating habits and seeking help early. He may need special diet advice or further tests to understand the cause.

My son 4yrs old suffering with Dengue and black motion.is it dangerous?

Male | 4

Your son's ailments sound concerning. Dengue fever, spread by mosquitoes, causes severe illness. Black motion likely indicates gastrointestinal bleeding, which can dangerously lower blood pressure. Ensure he remains hydrated, rests adequately, and seeks prompt medical attention for treatment monitoring.
