While the chances of conceiving naturally are slightly lower at 40, it’s still possible! Irregular periods can happen due to various factors like hormonal changes, stress, or even early menopause. It’s a good idea to see a gynecologist to find out the specific cause and explore fertility options if that’s your goal.

6 yrs of marriage having 2 kids both are normal delivery 2nd child is about 3 yrs Yesterday after intercourse I started bleeding at present now bleeding while urinating only any worry My last period date is 26 april

Female | 32

Bleeding can be caused by a small vaginal area tear or an itching sensation. There could be various reasons such as bacterial infections or hormonal changes. People need to remain quiet, get hydrated, and relax. Moreover, sex should be completely avoided until it is diagnosed.

I missed my period recently bt I didn’t had any sexual activities. Am I gonna be okay? When Can I possibly get my period again? Is there anything that I can do to get it Again?

Female | 18

It is quite normal to have a slip in the monthly cycle even if you didn’t get involved in any sexual activity. Stress, drastic weight changes, or changes in your daily schedule can affect your period. If the missed period is the only symptom you are experiencing, everything is probably okay. Your periods should return in a few weeks without any intervention. You need to take it easy and eat a balanced diet; also do some physical exercises and ensure to get enough sleep.

I'm 22 years old,I got my period on May 20-23.I had sex on 29,i used ECp on May 31st to prevent ovulation (I was like 5-6 days away from ovulation).I started to have brown discharge and mild cramps on June 9.It turned red on 10 and today being 11.It doesn't really stain my paint liner. I only get drops when I pee or poop.Normal?. When will it stop as well?.

Female | 22

The brown discharge could be old blood and early signs of the period starting. The routine of the ECp may have altered your cycle. Cramps are usually mild during periods. The bleeding should cease within a few days. It’s fine to observe for now. If it becomes heavy or lasts for a long time then you might want to have it looked at.

High blood pressure and 31 weeks pregnant

Well in that case contact your gynecologist immediately. They may prescribe medication to control your bp, recommend bed rest or reduced activity, and monitor your condition closely. Maintain a low-sodium diet, stay hydrated, and manage stress.
High bp during pregnancy can pose risks, so follow your doctor's guidance for a healthy outcome for you and your baby.

I used an emergency contraception about a month and a half ago, and found my self in a situation where I need to use one again now. In February I had a miscarriage and I’m just wondering how many times I can use emergency contraception, and if it’s okay to even after having a miscarriage. I have used probably about 6 in my life. Is there a limit to how many a woman can take? Will it affect my gynecological health?

Female | 21

Emergency contraception is intended for occasional and emergency use, not as a regular form of birth control. While there is no strict limit on how many times emergency contraception can be used, it's important to understand that it is not as effective or reliable as regular contraception methods.

Repeated use of emergency pills can disrupt hormonal balance in your body and cause irregularities in your menstrual cycle. It's recommended to speak personally with a gynec about more reliable and appropriate forms of contraception that can better suit your needs and provide ongoing protection.

Periods are coming very fast since last 1 month

Female | 44

FAST PERIODS could mean a HORMONAL IMBALANCE....STRESS, weight loss, or PCOS could be the reason...CONSULT a GYNECOLOGIST to rule out other causes... KEEP TRACK of your menstrual cycle using a period calendar... MAINTAIN a HEALTHY WEIGHT, rest well, and EAT healthily...TRY YOGA or MEDITATION to manage stress....

Hi docter I am 33 weeks pregnent I have 24 afi in pregenency reason not detect still now ..yesterday 2 dose dexamethasone 12 mg steroid give ot to me for docter assume incase have preterm labor in pregnancy ..my question is this one is use for developing lungs function when the baby born preterm delivery right ..if incase my bay bkrm after 37 to 40 weeks of pregency any effect to my baby in future because of to inject 12 mg steroid to my body

Female | 25

It's good that you are taking steps to recognize things early. Dexamethasone is used to help a baby's lungs develop in case they are born prematurely. Premature means the baby is born before 37 weeks of pregnancy. You don't need to worry about the baby having problems with this medicine if they are not born until after 37 weeks.

I had sex 4 days before my periods my periods cycle is 30 days there is any chance of pregnancy

Female | 22

Having sex close to your period may pose a pregnancy risk because the sperm can last in the body for a few days. You're most fertile around ovulation, but it's hard to tell the exact time. If you miss your period or have symptoms like nausea or breast tenderness, you may want to take a pregnancy test.
