Could Heavy, Painful, Irregular Periods Be Normal?
Sir, I am 17 years old girl and I'm suffering from irregular periods and whenever it comes it is heavy and painful.

Among the potential causes of heavy flow and pain accompanied by irregular periods are hormone imbalances, stress, too much exercise, and specific medical conditions. Observe your symptoms and see a gynecologist who will recommend appropriate treatment methods for you.

Can I be pregnant of hcg levels of 3.5
Female | 18
HCG levels of 3.5 means you are not pregnant. The normal range for HCG for non-pregnant ladies is usually less than 5 mlU/ml. If you have seen some unusual symptoms, you should see a gynecologist for a proper evaluation and consultation.

my hymen broke and I bled for 2-3 days then my periods started on 25 Jan they went on till 6 Feb. Then they started again on 21feb and are going on still. I did take one Ipill on 26 Feb. My abdomen and vagina hurt a lot
Female | 18
Long periods of pain are concerning. Your bleeding issue could stem from a broken hymen. But constant flow isn't normal. The emergency pill may disrupt your cycle too. Abdominal and vaginal aches suggest infection or hormonal imbalance. You must visit a gynecologist. They'll examine you, determine the underlying cause, and provide appropriate treatment.

Not having periods on time
Female | 13
If your periods do not come on time, it might be due to stress, weight changes, hormone problems, or other health issues. If you miss periods, feel very tired, or have headaches or weight changes, it is wise to talk to a doctor. A gynecologist can help find the cause and get your periods back on track.

I went to the doctor cause I was having symptoms that I thought was a UTI, and they gave me medicine for it, but my lab's came back on the 13th and everything was normal, I didn't have one, could I have a kidney infection or could I be pregnant?
Female | 32
Normal UTI tests suggest kidney infection is unlikely. Kidney infection symptoms like back/side pain, fever, and nausea may resemble pregnancy's frequent urination and abdominal discomfort. To confirm pregnancy, take a home test. If symptoms persist despite negative pregnancy test, see your gynecologist to identify the cause.

I had sex on 19th March in that only kissing and fingering happened no intercourse and i got my periods next month on April 12th on around my actual date and it was proper pad filling periods and last almost 4to5days but this month my periods is getting delayed may 12 was my date but didn't get the period till now so any chance of pregnancy
Female | 23
It is unlikely that you are pregnant because there was no sex. The truth is that your period can be delayed (sometimes by a couple of days) if you are under stress, engage in a diet program, or get your hormonal balance disrupted. Stay calm, pay close attention to the body signals, and see if there's any change over time. If the condition still doesn't improve consult a gynecologist for your peace of mind.

I am 17 years old and I recently learned about sex education I was so excited to feel how does sex feels . So I inserted a bathroom whiper in my vagina and I came to know that because of this my hymen broken as I could see some blood on the whiper . I am so stressed that what will I tell to my future husband about how my hymen broke . So is there any way if I can grow my hymen back . I just a really small stain of blood so is there any chance that my hymen is not fully broken and it can regrow on its own ?
Female | 17
Sometimes the cause of the hymen breaking can be due to different factors such as exercise, tampon use, or simply natural growth. Once shattered, a hymen can never grow back.

I am a 25 year old female who's been experiencing itchiness in the vagina for over 1 week. This is the second time I am experiencing itchiness, and unlike the first time, no remedy is working.
Female | 25
Signs of itchiness in the vagina could mean various conditions such as yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis or sexually transmitted diseases. It is therefore advisable that you seek the services of a gynecologist who may undertake tests and identify the underlying basis for your symptoms.

I am 21 year old girl and i want to know about my periods. My period date is 6 june and today on 22 june i again got a period spot and 2 months ago i also got periods 10 days early and it lasts for about 2 hours
Female | 21
It sounds like your periods are a bit irregular, which can happen sometimes. Spotting between periods can be due to hormonal changes, stress, or even a minor infection. Getting periods 10 days early might be influenced by these factors too. It's good to keep track of your periods and any unusual symptoms. If it continues, it's good to discuss this with a gynecologist.

I had protected sex on Feb 8th and taken i-pill and got withdrawal bleeding after 5 days. Then again I had protected sex on Feb 25th and I took i-pill and didn't get the bleeding. Is it because I may get pregnant?
Female | 22
Not getting withdrawal bleeding after taking the i-pill post protected sex doesn't always mean pregnancy. The emergency contraceptive can sometimes affect your menstrual cycle. However, if you're still worried, you can take a home pregnancy test a few weeks later to ease your mind.

I have really bad buring in my vagina and I have getting a pap smear tomorrow but I need to know what it is and what they will be doing.i am a female and I am 22 years old
Female | 22
Burning could be due to infections like yeast or bacterial. During Pap smear, the doctor will use a speculum to gently open the vagina and examine the cervix. They will then collect cells from your cervix using a small brush or spatula, and send to a lab for analysis. The Pap smear is used to screen for abnormal cells on the cervix, which can be a sign of cervical cancer or other issues.

im hurting when inserting down there and then start bleeding during sex
Female | 30
One may feel discomfort or have bleeding while engaging in intimate activities due to a variety of causes such as infections, dryness, or underlying conditions like fibroids. The key is to make sure that both partners are fully aroused, which might relieve the tension. The use of a water-based lubricant can also be helpful. Nevertheless, based on your symptoms, I recommend you consult with a gynecologist to examine the reason and find a suitable treatment.

Am 22 unmarried is bar mujy period howy ha mera blood brown rha ha why but no symptoms pain only brown blood
Female | 22
A brown period can indicate it is old blood that has been in the body for some time before it came out of the system. It's a normal phenomenon and not something to be overly concerned about. Some women experience mild pain as a natural occurrence with periods. Drink lots of fluids, eat healthy, and get sufficient sleep. If this problem persists for several cycles or if you have some anxiety, consulting a gynecologist is the best option.

My periods date is 8 feb I had unprotected sex at 18 feb after intercourse I take immediately unwanted 72 after 24 feb I got heavy bleeding for 6 days now 28 March but no periods I test 2 times paregnecy test but it's negative there is a chance for paregnecy?
Male | 20
Bleeding heavily post emergency contraceptives like Unwanted 72 occurs frequently, impacting menstrual cycles. Periods may behave irregularly after ingestion - not unusual. Negative pregnancy tests signal positivity. However, stress, hormonal imbalances, and other factors can postpone periods. Remain calm, allowing more time. If menstruation doesn't resume within weeks, consult a gynecologist for assessment.
