A nail pattern of a dark black line points to a condition of melanonychia. It can be attributed to trauma, drug influence, or very rarely malignant melanoma. It must be checked out by a dermatologist.

I want know about how i care my skin
Male | 17
Taking care of your skin is not very complex; just following the simple steps of a daily skincare routine can give you the best results. Wash your face with mild cleansers twice a day, moisturize your face daily, and use sunscreen as sun protection is paramount. For clear and healthy skin, make an appointment with a dermatologist.

I applied undiluted dettol on my face [acne region (cheek and forehead) as it was bleeding] and forgot to wash it off. This later burnt my skin and now two months later theres a brownish patch which I am unable to get rid of regardless of how many scars removal cream and depigmenting creams I have used. Please help me recognise the problem with a solution for the same. Thank you.
Female | 16
Undiluted Dettol is said to cause burns and dark patches on the skin, especially the sensitive area of the face. The brownish skin spot that you have may be the result of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. To discolor the patch, avoid sun exposure by applying sunscreen, and think about visiting a dermatologist for chemical peels or laser therapy treatment.

I am 21 years old and I have na itchy skin,I googled and saw that it's called hives since when it's itchy and I scratch I'm left with this things I googled called hives,it also comes with lip swell, there's a certain doctor who told me not to use medicine with sulphur and I stop using body lotions but I'm still suffering .what might be the problem and what can you recommend I use to end it.
Female | 21
You might have hives, which can be itchy skin and even swelling on your lips. Hives can be caused by different reasons such as allergies, stress, or infections. It is great that you have completely stopped using sulfur-containing products. Attempt to 'take an over-the-counter antihistamine' like diphenhydramine for help with itching and swelling. Besides, try to understand and avoid what could be the cause of your hives. If the issue persists, it is best to visit a dermatologist.

Kya potato juice say acne mark fade hoty? Or kitny weeks ma?
Female | 22
Potato juice is often considered beneficial for the skin due to its natural enzymes and vitamins, which may help in reducing dark spots over time. However, results can vary widely from person to person, and significant changes might take several weeks. Remember that acne marks often indicate underlying skin conditions, so it's crucial to address these factors properly. For effective treatment and personalized advice, consulting a dermatologist is highly recommended. They can provide tailored solutions that suit your specific skin type and needs, ensuring the best care for your skin health.

My whole body has been itchy for about a week now. Feet, legs, stomach, back, chest, arms, hands, and head have been so itchy. What’s wrong?
Female | 18
It seems like you could have dermatitis, a condition that can make your skin extremely itchy all over. Dry skin, allergies, or irritation from some products may be the cause of this. To help yourself feel better, try using mild lotion not scratching yourself too much and wearing loose clothes. Should this not work for you it would be good to see a dermatologist who will give you more advice on what to do about it.

I am 21 yrs old male I have like rash, blisters forming in my inner thigh Which is itching
Male | 21
You are going through a simple condition called jock itch. This occurs mostly in men and is due to a rash, scratching, and blistering in the area of your inner thighs. Excessive perspiration, chafing, or even a fungal infection might be the cause of this. To make this easier, make sure the area is kept clean and dry, don't wear tight clothing, and use antifungal creams or powders. If the condition does not improve, visit a dermatologist.

Female | 18
Acne is an issue many people deal with. Clogged pores allow oil and dead skin build-up. Whiteheads, blackheads, pimples form. Use gentle face wash. Don't pop pimples. Over-the-counter benzoyl peroxide products help. If very severe acne persists, see a dermatologist. They can prescribe stronger medication.

Vitiligo surgery is possible
Male | 25
Vitiligo is a kind of skin disorder where some areas of the skin get depigmented. It affects the aesthetics but does not bring any pain or sickness. The primary cause is still unclear, but one suspicion could be that the immune system attacks the pigment cells. Surgery is an option to help with color restoration, but it is not a solution to the problem. A thorough examination by a dermatologist is necessary to determine if surgery can be the best solution for you.

I am 29 year old female with face of black spots only on cheeks and small bumps on forehead. I do take high riority in akin care and limited all the products. I use anti bacterial face wash, spf 30, ice bath, turmeric face mask and at night I use clindamycin 1% (Clear gel). My skin becomes dry, but if I use mousturizer then its a acne burst out next day. So, I was my face 10 to 20 times with only water out of which couple of times with soap.
Female | 29
The black spots may be due to previous acne or sun exposure, while the bumps on your forehead could indicate blocked pores. Gently cleansing and using antibacterial products can help, but over-washing may irritate your skin further. Instead, consider a lightweight, non-comedogenic moisturizer to combat dryness without clogging pores. It’s essential to have a balanced skincare routine. I recommend consulting a dermatologist for tailored advice and possible treatments, ensuring you address these concerns effectively and safely.

Be sure to go to the doctor as soon as possible if you think you might be infected with an STD. You may have genital herpes, or an STD if you experience a swelling in the bump on your lower bum area. A dermatologist or a specialist in sexual health can be suited to diagnose and treat any conditions you may suffer.

Aapke chehre par jo nishan hain, unka hona stressful ho sakta hai. Yeh aksar skin ki healing process ka hissa hote hain, jo hormonal changes ya stress ki wajah se ho sakte hain. Aapki problem ke liye laser therapy, chemical peels ya microdermabrasion jaise options hain, jo nishanon ko lighten karne mein madad kar sakte hain. Yogurt ka istemal bhi beneficial ho sakta hai, lekin yeh sab cheezein doctor's consultation ke bina na karen. Main aapko ek dermatologist se milne ki salah deta hoon taake aapki specific needs ke liye best treatment plan tay kiya ja sake.

Hi my 12 year old boy has a swollen lower lip that's been swollen for months
Female | 37
A swollen lower lip lasting months isn't normal. It's wise you seek advice. Swelling could result from various causes: allergies, infections, or harmless growths, making eating and talking difficult. To receive proper treatment, consult a dermatologist. They'll identify the precise cause, providing suitable care. Swelling could stem from an allergic reaction to something you ate or used. Or it could indicate an infection requiring antibiotics.

Dr. Alvin's Product No. 4 Peeling Set I use on my face for 36 days. My skin is very oily and sensitive. The peeling product did not give good results after using it on my skin. Currently my skin is white and black. Now what can I do?
Female | 19
The white and black spots you noticed could result from product irritation. This might've caused hyperpigmentation. Stop using the product immediately. Use a gentle, moisturizing cleanser and moisturizer made for sensitive skin instead. Wear sunscreen daily to protect your skin. Give your skin time to heal, avoiding harsh products. If the changes persist or worsen, consult a dermatologist.

These can be a form of pigmentation and often improve over time. Using products like Eliteglo cream can help lighten these spots, but it’s best to approach any treatment with care. I suggest consulting a dermatologist before starting any new cream to ensure it’s suitable for your skin type. Meanwhile, protecting your skin from the sun and staying hydrated can also support overall skin health.
