If a tooth is decayed, it is the result of a hole in the tooth formed by bacteria. This can cause the gums to bleed. Look out for signs such as discomfort, sensitivity, and bad breath. If you see blood from your gums, make sure to brush gently twice a day, use mouthwash, and see your dentist to treat the cavity before it gets worse.
