When it comes to sexually transmitted infections (STIs), the bacteria might not be fully eliminated by antibiotics. Having a test could identify the right medication needed. Visit a urologist as they can help you with proper treatment plan. In some situations, a more potent antibiotic or combining different treatment becomes necessary to clear the infection completely. But don't forget, practicing safe sex is crucial for preventing future infections.

I have a hole under the cap of my penis,I feel some strong itch in my penis sometimes and feel some pains while urinating
Male | 20
I think you might have something known as a urethral meatus fistula, a small hole beneath the head of the penis. Itching that’s very intense and pain while urinating are some symptoms. It might be because of an infection or injury. To help it get better, ensure you keep it clean, drink plenty of water and avoid irritating soaps. If they don’t go away, make sure to see a urologist right away for further evaluation.

It looks like you may have a urinary tract infection (UTI). This is a very frequent side effect and it can lead to painful urination, increased urge to urinate, and a sensation of incomplete bladder emptying. I advise you to see a urologist or a gynecologist quickly for diagnosis and proper treatment.

I want to know about phimosis
Male | 23
Phimosis is a condition where the foreskin on a boy's penis becomes too tight and won't retract. It can make urinating tricky, trigger swelling, or cause pain. Usually, it stems from the foreskin failing to stretch properly during growth. Often, circumcision solves it – that's a simple surgery removing the overly-snug foreskin. Getting medical help is crucial if you or someone you care about faces these issues.

Hi I'm chandan from India iam water intake 2 litere per day my urine output 24 hour 200 ml my urine output very low caln you solution my test report normal
Male | 43
A low output of urine of around 200ml in 24 hours is not considered normal. It may be due to dehydration, kidney problems, or medications. Additionally, try to consume three to four liters of water per day. Eat water pouches as fruits and vegetables in your diet. If the challenge is still the same, kindly consult a urologist for proper evaluation and treatment.

You may be having a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are painful when you pee. A person may need to take medication for a few months or there is a chance, that he will be infected again. It is crucial to drink water and to not hold your pee. Female | 39
This happens if germs invade your urinary system which then irritates. Some of the symptoms are itching and swelling in the private parts as well as a painful or burning sensation while passing urine. Drinking water can however help in washing away the germs. Proper diagnosis and treatment must be sought from a urologist who may put you on antibiotics.

i tested positive for chlamydia but my partner tested negative
Female | 20
You should consult a doctor immidiately. A negative test of your partner does not mean they are free of infections, because it could take time for bacteria to turn up in the test. It is recommended to consult a gynecologist or a urologist for an accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Hello, i have third class medical test coming for aviation i am 22 years old women so i had frequent UTI and as i read the examinations contain urine protein test, my question is are UTI and proteinuria related, can UTI be detected during this examination? Thank you
Female | 22
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are pretty normal for women your age. These can make peeing hurt, or make you go often with cloudy urine. UTIs alone usually won't cause protein in the urine. But left untreated, they could develop into kidney problems leading to proteinuria. The urine protein test during your exam checks for protein. A current UTI could show up. See a urologist for treatment.
