Teeth discomfort can arise from various causes, including cavities, gum disease, or sensitivity. Common signs include sharp pain while chewing, sensitivity to hot or cold foods, or aching gums. Addressing these issues often involves dental fillings, which help restore tooth integrity and alleviate pain. It's vital to maintain good oral hygiene and visit your dentist regularly for check-ups. If the pain persists or worsens, I recommend scheduling an appointment with a dentist for a thorough examination and tailored treatment. They will guide you to the best options for relief and long-term dental health.

Female | 28
In most cases, lymph nodes might swell after the tooth extraction, maybe if there is an infection present. But you will have to go to the doctor if the swelling lasts longer than a few days. I suggest you consult a maxillofacial surgeon for a detailed investigation and treatment of your swollen lymph node.

I have used braces for 10 months as I have gaps between my teeth and then used retainer for 1 year. And after one more year, now my teeth are moving same as previous and getting gaps between them. can you tell that you can fix this permanently ?
Female | 22
The retainer often causes this issue because it doesn't fit properly, allowing teeth to shift and gaps to reappear. You may need to see your orthodontist to determine if braces or a different retainer are needed. It's crucial to follow your orthodontist's instructions carefully to maintain the results of your treatment.

Female | 17
A white spot in the floor of your mouth can be caused by various factors, including irritation, infections, or benign growths. Common symptoms may include discomfort or difficulty swallowing. While many cases resolve on their own, it's essential to monitor the spot for any changes. You can maintain oral hygiene, avoid spicy foods, and stay hydrated. However, if the spot persists beyond a week, becomes painful, or shows unusual characteristics, I recommend consulting a dentist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide a proper diagnosis and treatment options, ensuring your peace of mind and health.

I was wondering if I could split a chewable tablet
Male | 31
Generally, if a medication is designed to be chewable, splitting it is usually not necessary and might affect its effectiveness. Chewable forms are formulated for proper absorption when taken whole. If you're experiencing difficulty with the dosage or have concerns, the best step is to discuss this with your physician. They can provide personalized advice and may offer alternatives that suit your needs better.

From strengthening, discoloration, or error with the former sticking brownish color may result. Depending on what is the matter, the choice is yours: to restore the previous material or if necessary to perform a root canal. It's important to get a dentist’s opinion, and the diagnosis has to be right on the mark; if a treatment needs to be done, it also has to be correctly chosen. They will check the ailment and suggest the best course of action for you, guaranteeing your endurance and fitness.
