Why are my fingers tingling after Semaglutide shot?
Patient's Query
I took semaglutide shot 1x in my right side of my belly button and my fingers have been tingling and I can’t stand it. I am to take another shot on Wednesday but I’m not taking it ever again
Answered by Dr. Babita Goel
Feeling tingling in your fingers can be concerning. This symptom may arise from various factors, including anxiety, nerve sensitivity, or potential reactions to medications like semaglutide. It's vital to pause and monitor your condition. For now, I recommend you avoid your next dose until you consult with a physician. They can assess your symptoms and determine the best course of action tailored to your needs.
