Certainly, feeling unease or even experiencing some light bleeding after sex after you've had a hysterectomy can be scarry at first, but as nobody entrepreneur shares her account of recovery. This can be caused by changes in the composition of the vaginal tissue, muscle tension or dryness. For a patient to become comfortable and moisture, to make the friction smooth, the doctor himself can tell them that maternity is not the end of the sex life. Another option, you can consult your therapist about self-soothing techniques. If you wish to make some changes, please do not hesitate to contact your health care provider.

Hello thanks for being here! I recently started spotting for the first time during my expected period. I am now 11days late. I am wondering if due to stress is it possible for it to be a short cycle/spotting if a stressful period is usually longer for myself?
Female | 29
Stress impacts your period in various ways. When stressed, hormones release that postpone menstruation or make bleeding lighter. Spotting commonly happens under stress too. Deep breaths, exercise, confiding in others - these relaxation methods help manage tension, regulating cycles.

My periods are very irregular and heavy, I used to lose so much blood. But this time my periods came after 3 months and are still going on for more than 15 days. They're very heavy and have big mucusy lumps in the discharged blood. It's very painful. Immediate relief pills that contain tranexamic acid don't appear to work now. What should I do?
Female | 20
It seems like you may be having some serious changes in your menstrual cycle, which can be worrying. Heavy bleeding with large clots and prolonged periods may be the result of hormonal imbalances, uterine fibroids, or other diseases. While drugs may provide relief, the importance of receiving medical care cannot be overstated and this should be considered the first step, especially if the non-prescription drugs are not working. A gynecologist can do an in-depth examination of you and then prescribe the treatments that will match your condition and needs.

I usually get my period 25days after my last period this month I go it after 39days I took a test 5 days ago it says nagative I don’t know what’s wrong with me
Female | 22
If your period was supposed to come, but the test says no, don’t worry. It can happen. Stress, change in routine, or hormonal imbalance can affect your cycle this month. Sometimes, cycles change due to things like these. But remember other factors too – like thyroid problems; PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome); rapid weight loss/gain etcetera If it happens again next time – try to relax and see how you feel overall. And if it does, don’t be afraid to talk to a gynecologist.

I am 25 years old Female having lower abdominal pain and cramps
Female | 25
If you’re having your period, the pain might be related to that. Try drinking something warm like tea or coffee (without too much caffeine), using a hot water bottle on your tummy, or taking some over-the-counter painkillers such as paracetamol or ibuprofen – these can all help make things more bearable until it stops hurting so much each month. However, if it becomes too severe or goes on for ages, seek consultation from a gynecologist.

I had blood tests and ultrasound, the test results are normal. Could it be vaginal atrophy? What kind of tests should I do?

My period cycle is 30 to 40 days. I am trying for pregnancy. Due to that my doctor said to take tests for PCOS, FSH and AMH levels.I have hypothyroid 3.1 report on Dec 2023 and taking 50 mcg daily. My FSH is 25.74 and AMH is 0.3 on March 2024 . My doctor told because of low egg reserve it is better to go IVF treatment. I need your suggestion on this.
Female | 27
Your test results suggest that your egg supply is running low, which could make it harder for you to get pregnant. This may be caused by something called PCOS. PCOS affects the menstrual cycle and fertility. Your doctor advised you to undergo IVF treatment to improve your chances of conception. IVF works by using technology to facilitate fertilization outside the body hence this might just be what you need. Make sure you discuss all possible options with your fertility specialist.

My period date is 17 but I want delay period due to some function
Female | 26
Periods are accompanied by symptoms such as cramps, mood swings, and tiredness. Stress and hormonal imbalance can be the reason for the irregular menstrual cycle. You can postpone your period by taking hormonal birth control pills prescribed by your gynecologist. They will help to maintain your menstrual cycle in the desired way and to push the period for a specific day.

I had sex on April 5th which was on my 9th day of periods and I got periods regular on 25th April .but now my periods was delay , my due date was 23th may and it showing some symptoms like mood swings, frequent urination. Am I pregnant?
Female | 19
You might be pregnant based on what you’ve said. Mood swings and having to pee all the time are both symptoms of pregnancy that can occur very early on. This is because of the hormones in your body changing. The only way to know for sure if you’re pregnant or not is by taking a home pregnancy test. If it comes out positive then you need to see a gynecologist so they can help take care of things properly.

why is it tht my girlfriend is still bleeding yet she removed the ectopic pregnancy
Female | 19
An ectopic pregnancy removal can cause bleeding. Healing takes time. Bleeding may be the body's method for eliminating remaining tissue. Seek medical care if severe pain, heavy bleeding, or feeling unwell occur. Monitor for unusual symptoms closely. The body needs time to recover fully. Bleeding is a normal process, but excessive bleeding warrants medical attention. Don't ignore persistent or concerning symptoms.

i got + pregnancy test today periods r 15 days late but last night i was in party nd did drink
Female | 35
The period can be delayed now and then. Alcohol consumption can slow down the body's cyclic process, thus menstruation may be late. Some pregnancy indicators include the lack of a period, increased fatigue, and the experience of morning sickness. If you're in doubt about being pregnant, take a pregnancy test. If you get a positive test result, it's vital to consult a gynecologist for further advice and treatment.

I am 9 months pregnant . My breast are paining I am having pain while getting upstairs. My legs palso pain very much. I am having twins baby
Female | 24
One might experience discomfort as their pregnancy comes to an end, especially with the presence of two embryos. Pain in the chest can be the result of hormonal changes, whereas leg pain can be caused by the increase in weight and the accumulation of fluids. This can be intensified by climbing the stairs, which adds more strain to the body. Being able to keep the body in motion can allow one to let go of some pain, The basic rule is to drink as much water as you can and sleep whenever you can because these will be crucial. However, if the signs are getting worse or turn into severe symptoms, you should consult a gynecologist who can personally check your condition to ensure your and the pregnancy’s safety.

My last LMP was on 13 sept 2024 after that from 10 October i have spotting and didn't stop.I have taken ocp for 2 years as i have pcos/pcod. Now my complete period as not coming only spotting is there .I did usg which was normal.now what to do
Female | 24
Spotting could be the result of many different things, one of which is hormonal imbalance which occurs when there is PCOS/PCOD. It is good that your ultrasound turned out to be normal, hence, some major problems are eliminated. Modification of your OCP is one of the strategies you can discuss with your gynecologist besides other treatment options to make your periods balanced.

I'm 17 year old girl....2 days ago I went out with my boyfriend on a date and i sucked his dick and swallowed his cum...is there any problem with that? Am I going to get pregnant? Because stomach pains a little and my stomach has been upset since then pls tell me doc, thank you.
Female | 17
It should be remembered that pregnancy is not determined by drinking the cum. Nausea could be relieved by behavior or any food they may have eaten. Receiving treatments such as peace of mind, proper diet, drinking plenty of water, and a good night's sleep. When the signs last or aggravate, do not wait but let your gynecologist who will help you and guide you.

Hi Doctor My name is Raji. I am 40 years old. Last week, I did a medical checkup and found that in my left ovary, there is a hemorrhagic cyst measuring 3.9*3.1cm with lace-like internal echoes. The doctor advised me to take Regesterone and folic acid for 6 months. I am planning to conceive. So she advised me to take conserved tablets for 3 months after taking Regestrone and folic acid. I need to know progesterone and folic acid take together. After the cyst has reduced then take conserved Tablets. Can I take Regestrone and folic acid together safely? What should I expect after my cyst has reduced? When should I start taking Conceival? Is it safe to take Regestrone while trying to conceive, and how does it affect fertility? Folic Acid: How much folic acid should I take, and how does it support pregnancy? Timing: When should I start taking Conceival, and what is the best timing for my menstrual cycle or any current medications? Monitoring: What follow-up care will I need after starting to try for a baby? Please advise
Female | 41
According to your gynecologist, it’s safe to take Regestrone and folic acid together. Regestrone helps treat hemorrhagic cysts, while folic acid is essential for pregnancy. Once the cyst is resolved, you can start taking Conceival tablets as prescribed. Regestrone may temporarily reduce fertility, but it can still be used alongside conception procedures. A daily dose of 400 mcg of folic acid is typically recommended for a healthy pregnancy. Conceival treatment will begin with your menstrual cycle, or you may explore additional therapies. Your doctor will monitor your progress as you plan to conceive.

I want to know if my hymen is still intact
Female | 17
I suggest that you make an appointment to see a gynecologist who will be able to look at your hymen and tell if it is intact or not. However, it is important to remember that the presence or absence of a hymen is not the only factor in determining virginity since several factors can lead to the hymen tearing or not being present.
