Could bloating and frequent urination indicate early pregnancy?
I am 19 year old..my general menstrual cycle is 30-32 days. I had my last period on 2 nd September. I had unprotected sex but used pull out method from 11-16 September. Later on 4th October i started bleeding. It was lighter than my usual period but it was definitely more than implantation bleeding. Then still to avoid any confusion I took a pregnancy test on 5th day of missed period and it came negative.. I am feeling bloated and experiencing frequent urination.. is it bcoz of light period or Are they pregnancy symptoms

Sometimes when the period is around or sometimes due to hormonal changes one can feel bloated and need to pee more often. The bleeding you had might have been some other period. Periods can be a bit irregular at times. Given the result of your pregnancy test being negative, it is less likely that these symptoms are related to pregnancy. Pay attention to how you feel and if you don't notice any improvement, you can make an appointment with a gynecologist.

Is 50-Day Menstrual Cycle Normal Post-Abortion Experience?
Hi, I have undergone abortion in Feb 2024, after that in 6 months my average menstrual cycle is 33 days, now it has been 50 days since I got period, pregnancy test is negative and I observed 2 blood clots in the past 2 days! Was it period?

Hormone fluctuations or not expelling all the tissue from the abortion could be the reason for longer cycles and blood clots. Stress, changes in weight, and even thyroid complications can be responsible for irregular periods. Eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and be sure to manage stress levels. If the problem persists, see a gynecologist to find out if you have any other disease.

The answer to the problem of the intense musty smell might gravitate around the process itself. If the odor does not go away or you have other issues, it's always better to consult a gynecologist.

In general, it is best to have a break of 18 to 24 months after the c-section and neonatal loss before conceiving again. Your body has time to heal both physically and emotionally. You must give yourself space to get better first before thinking about another pregnancy.

Can I Have Vaginal Sex with Hemorrhoidal Bleeding?
Hi I'm bleed from my hemorrhoids the bleeding is very light and only when I wipe is it safe to still have vaginal sex
Dr. Himali Patel

Answered on 8th Oct '24
If you are light bleeding from your hemorrhoids, it is better to not practice vaginal sex for now. Hemorrhoids can result in small amounts of bleeding, and intercourse may exacerbate the situation. Taking a break from sex will allow your body to heal for a while. Keep the area clean and think about using over-the-counter creams for relief. If it turns out that the bleedings last longer or gets worse, it is wise to see a doctor.

It is rather typical to notice spotting or bleeding between periods sometimes. In some cases, it can be a result of hormonal changes or stress. Tranexamic acid can help to curb the bleeding by making the blood clot better. Consult with a gynecologist before using any new medication. Stay hydrated, get rest, and watch for your symptoms.

Headaches, dizziness, and nausea are a few side effects that the implant can be responsible for. At times our bodies require time to adjust to the hormones in the implant. Why Does My Post-Delivery Urination Cause Infection?
After my delivery urine flows like water and urine infection also .i consult with doctor and took medicines.but I have no changes what can I do
Dr. Mohit Saraogi

Answered on 8th Oct '24
You may be experiencing urinary incontinence, a condition common after childbirth where you can't control urine flow. This can happen because the muscles supporting your bladder are weakened. To manage it, try pelvic floor exercises to strengthen these muscles. Drink plenty of water, but avoid bladder irritants like coffee and soda. Also, visit the bathroom regularly, even if you don't feel the urge. If the issue continues, consult a urologist for further advice.

To push your period, you can use period delay pills that are available over the counter, like Norethisterone. It is restricted to a short-term application and can be used purposefully to postpone a period. Nevertheless, it is crucial to bear in mind that every medication has the possibility of causing side effects, so it would be best to talk to a gynecologist about this option to find out if it is appropriate for you.

What does polyhydramnios and macrocephaly mean for my baby?
I was diagnosed with polyhydromnios at my 21 weeks scan with an AFI kmeasuring 22 with single deepest pocket measuring 8.9. My GTT was negative so my doctor suggested me for another high resolution ultrasound after 4 weeks which showed polyhydromnios with AFI 22.6 with single deepest pocket measuring 6.9. The baby head circumference was at 96 percentile which said macrocephaly, depressed nasal bridge and a possibility of costello syndrome with a score of 6/10 as per AI. I am already 26 weeks pregnant now and really worried

Polyhydramnios, which have too much amniotic fluid, can sometimes be associated with conditions such as macrocephaly and depressed nasal bridge in babies. Costello syndrome, although it is rare, maybe a cause of these features. The increased head circumference is also in this regard. At this moment doctors must pay attention to the development of your pregnancy and your baby's development. Stay in close contact with your gynecologist and follow their guidance closely during the treatment.

Did timely i-pill intake reduce pregnancy chance after intercourse?
On September 7th, I had my period, and on September 20th, I engaged in intercourse. There was no ejaculation inside, and to further ensure I was protected, I took the i-pill approximately 1.5 hours after the intercourse. while going back home the pill was out of its packet for 5 mins with a normal temperature. it was in my hand in a fist. Given that I took the pill promptly and there was no ejaculation, I feel reassured about the low likelihood of pregnancy, though I’m still monitoring my menstrual cycle for any changes or delays. that’s why i need help.
Dr. Mohit Saraogi

Answered on 8th Oct '24
The contraceptive pill can be taken within a few hours after intercourse to stop ovulation and prevent pregnancy. The risk of pregnancy from pre-cum is low. It is, however, better to be vigilant. You should track the menstrual cycle for any sudden changes or delays. Be aware that the I-pill may sometimes affect your cycle in minor ways. If you notice any unusual symptoms or have any worries, visit a gynecologist.

The itching and pain in your vagina might be due to a fungal infection, especially if you recently took antibiotics. The discomfort due to fungi can be treated. Using Candid V6 was a good start, but if the itching persists, you may need to see another gynecologist for further advice. Make sure to keep the area clean and dry and avoid tight clothing.

Do I need to worry about pregnancy at 16?
I' am 16 years old girl and I want to know that if i am pregnant because last month me and my boyfriend are sleeping together and he mine did not go inside to my vagina but he drop uis semen near and outside my vagina i think but he said that his semen did not come out but i thought that he didn't know so please answer me i was so scary to be pregnant

The situation you described is low risk for pregnancy because no semen entered your vagina from your boyfriend. Usually, pregnancy happens when instead of semen (which consists of sperm) the precis egg meets with the sperm. On the other hand, it is essential to pay attention to the common pregnancy symptoms that include missed periods, nausea, breast tenderness, or fatigue. If you're worried, you might want to take a pregnancy test or see a gynecologist for advice tailored just for you.
