The pain in your lower abdomen, along with low hemoglobin and high ESR levels, along with decreased creatinine clearance and reduced UV-B irradiation exposure, can be associated with various health conditions. I am undergoing treatment for MDS and on ERYKINE 10000i.u ocean a week and Neukine 300mcg twice a week.I am hypertensive but not a diabetic .For about two months now I am beset with fever.Earlier it struck me with a gap of one or two days.Fever used to be low.For some days now it has acquired continuity. My doctor put me on a five day course of Taxim O 200 and said that if fever still persists I should go for PET SCAN whole body.Since fever did not go I went through PET scan on 18th September 24.Its report is normal. What am I to do now?

Male | 73

Fever for such a long time can be worrying. The PET scan came back normal and this is fantastic news. The next step could be to revisit your doctor to explore other reasons for your fever. Staying well-hydrated with proper sleep is strictly necessary. Seek medical advice promptly for further evaluation.

My hemoglobin report 8.2 and my esr 125

Male | 37

According to your test results, your hemoglobin level is low, which can cause symptoms like feeling tired and weak. The high ESR number could mean that your body is inflamed. From simple ones, such as anemia, to complex ones, such as infection-are sorts of them. If you want to take your hemoglobin to the right levels, you may have to take in more iron-rich foods by way of diet. Plus, do not forget that the root cause of inflammation is there and lower your ESR count. To improve your hemoglobin, you may need to eat more iron-rich foods, and addressing the underlying cause of inflammation can help lower your ESR level.

I am 25 years old male, I am taking PEP medication for 25 days and had another exposure today, do I have to extend my PEP?

Male | 25

If you're already on PEP medication and had another exposure, it's important to let your healthcare provider know. They will, however, determine whether you require additional PEP treatment. Sometimes symptoms of HIV can take a while to develop, therefore it is better to be safe than sorry. PEP treatment assists in reducing the chances of acquiring HIV, nevertheless, it is still preferable to consult with your doctor to ensure that you are following the correct plan.
