cough for over 2 weeks run in a competition? He has taken spetrin 500mg 2 times daily for 5 days and the cough won't go
Male | 15
You've had a lingering cough for over two weeks. A stubborn cough can be caused by colds, asthma, allergies, or environmental irritants. Taking Spetrin for five days was a good first step, but if the cough persists, a different approach might be needed. Drink lots of fluids, and get plenty of rest. Consider seeing a pulmonologist for personalized advice.

At Night, Shortness of breath getting worse. I feel like severe tightness in my chest (not pain). Do I go for TMT and Chest X-ray? Yesterday, I consulted general physician, he told that my heart rate was high. Spo2 are Normal (100%)

Shortness of breath, especially worsening at night, can be concerning. Given your normal heart tests and cholesterol levels, it might indicate other factors such as anxiety, allergies, or even respiratory issues. It's good that your oxygen levels are stable. A thorough evaluation, including a chest X-ray and possibly a treadmill test (TMT), can provide more insights. I recommend you consult your pulmonologist for further assessment, as they can guide you through appropriate next steps and ensure your well-being.

I'm suffering from chronic cough from 5 days and today its more severe I'm having yellow eyes also chest pain and sore throat
Female | 18 years
It sounds like you’re experiencing significant discomfort with the persistent cough, chest pain, sore throat, and yellowish tint in your eyes. These symptoms may suggest an infection or inflammation, possibly involving your respiratory system. Staying hydrated and using a humidifier might help ease your throat. Over-the-counter pain relievers can reduce discomfort. However, given the severity of your situation and the presence of yellowish eyes, it's crucial to seek medical attention promptly. A pulmonologist can provide a proper diagnosis and tailored treatment plan to support your recovery.
