Answered on 16th Jan '25
It sounds like you’re experiencing significant discomfort with the persistent cough, chest pain, sore throat, and yellowish tint in your eyes. These symptoms may suggest an infection or inflammation, possibly involving your respiratory system. Staying hydrated and using a humidifier might help ease your throat. Over-the-counter pain relievers can reduce discomfort. However, given the severity of your situation and the presence of yellowish eyes, it's crucial to seek medical attention promptly. A pulmonologist can provide a proper diagnosis and tailored treatment plan to support your recovery.

I have had a low-grade fever on and off for about 6 days, cough with blood in mucus sometimes, although it may be blood from my nosebleed, and sore throat what could be the cause?
Male | 20
You might have a chest cold. That makes you cough and feel hot. The red stuff from your nose or throat could be from bleeding. But you should go to a pulmonologist to check. Be sure to drink a lot of water and juice. And rest as much as you can. Use a humidifier too. It puts water in the air so your throat does not get dry.

I’ve been having a issue since morning tho I’m asthmatic when I feel the pain I use inhaler it stops and later I feel it again
Male | 22
Asthma causes breathing difficulties like chest pain and shortness of breath. If you use your inhaler and feel better, that medicine is opening your airways. However, when symptoms return, it may mean asthma isn't fully controlled. You likely need to see a pulmonologist who can adjust your treatment plan. The right treatment helps manage asthma symptoms properly.

In case you vape and feel nervous, this might be the thing that is exacerbating your distress. Vaping injures the lungs and causes breathing problems. Anxiety may also bring about a rare situation where one finds it hard to breathe. As an alternative try to keep away from as often as possible and have deep breath exercises to calm anxiety or chat with someone. If it keeps up make sure you obtain help from a healthcare professional.

The chest discomfort, shortness of breath, and confusion may stem from the body's reaction to cannabis, especially for a first-time user. Smoking can also contribute to respiratory issues. It's crucial to stay calm. Ensure you’re in a comfortable setting and hydrate. If symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend reaching out to a pulmonologist for a thorough evaluation. My 7-month-old daughter has coughed for almost 20 days. Some times it feels like a dry cough, and some time it feels like mucus. mostly she feels good but suddenly cough starts and feels like choking or unable to breathe, and this happens in phase 2 or 3 times in 24 hours.
Female | 7 months
A dry cough changing to mucus coughing may signal throat irritation or a cold. Difficulty breathing during coughing fits could mean mucus temporarily blocks her airways. Keep her hydrated. Use a humidifier in her room to loosen mucus. If coughing persists or worsens, seek medical attention from her pediatrician. This rules out other issues needing treatment.
