My mom age 49 yrs diagnosed with liver cancer And it has spread to the gallbladder. And Because Of water abdomen Is fully tight. Jaundice is very high. What will be the best treatment for her?
As per my understanding the patient is suffering from liver and gallbladder cancer, and is having ascites and high bilirubin. Ascites is definitely a complication associated with advanced cancer. Doctors may do regular paracentesis to remove this fluid. It is advisable to consult an oncologist and religiously follow his advice and do the best for the patient. Along with treatment patient may need psychological support to deal with the disease. Regular nursing and family support will help patient. Kindly consult an oncologist for evaluation. In stage 3 gallbladder cancer the cancer spreads to all nearby tissues or lymph nodes. While it's more advanced, it is not necessarily incurable. It can be treated with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. It would be best if you visit a cancer specialist near you for a personalised advice about her treatment soon.

I'm 52 years old and have stopped periods since December 2019. Three years ago, I had left breast pain. I consulted a clinic and everything turned out well after mammograms and other procedures. Now after three years I'm still getting the pain and some discomfort in the left breast. I spoke with my usual doctor, but she advised me to visit a breast clinic. She believes it is hormonal but just wants to ensure. Is it possible that this type of breast pain is caused by cancer? I am pretty anxious now and searching on google made me more restless. Is it common in women or something terrible?
Post menopause (after periods) in females may cause many hormonal imbalances which cause pain in breasts, pain in stomach and some discomfort. But a regular check up of breast, PAP smears and ultrasonography investigations at regular intervals is mandatory to check and catch any disorder or disease in early stage. Only after a thorough investigation we can rule out and cancers. For more information you can visit nearest oncologist.

Have a node in my armpit its pain when I press
Female | 27
It is likely that the node in your armpit is an enlarged lymph node. This can happen due to infections or other medical conditions. You need to see a specialist who will diagnose the underlying cause and take appropriate measures. Sometimes, an oncologist or an infectious disease specialist has to be referred to.

Hello, I'm 48 yrs old male, diagnosed with AML in August 2020, underwent intense chemo. Achieved remission after cycle1. After 4 cycles of chemo in april 2021, I was advised to take preventive chemo thats milder (Azacitidine for 12 cycles). This chemo started in May 2021 until Nov 2022. Now I have achieved complete remission & stopped all treatment. what are my chances here, is there a likelihood of relapse, if yes should I take any preventive steps like ayurveda etc. I dont have prior history of smoking or drinking, have maintained healthy diet all along
Male | 48
Remission from treatment is wonderful news. Your relapse chances vary but maintaining a healthy lifestyle remains vital. AML relapse risk exists, as it's a complex cancer. Ayurvedic therapies support wellbeing, but regular medical follow-ups catch relapses early. Keep doing what you're doing, and stay connected with your care team.

Hello, I have Pancreatic Cancer and it has started spreading to the liver. Which treatment will be able to increase my survival rate?
As per my understanding the patient is suffering from pancreatic cancer and now it has metastasized to liver and you want to know about the treatment. It seems the patient id suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Any cancer stage 4 does not have a good prognosis.
Treatment of cancer to a great extent depends on type of cancer, stage of Cancer, location of the cancer, general condition of patient, associated comorbidities and weighing benefits over risk. So considering these factors doctor will advise the treatment. Consult oncologists. Hope our answer helps you.

How can one know she has breast cancer
Female | 20
It is possible to diagnose breast cancer by self-examination in that you have a look and feel for any lumps or other abnormal changes in the tissue. However, please note that breast cancer can also be symptomless, so a person needs to have examinations by an endocrinologist or gynecologist once in a while.

In December I had a ct scan for stomach as well as an exrsy for chest ..January got an exray for suspected broken arm . This month February I want to have a mammogram. Is it safe after all the radiation
Female | 72
It seems to be significant what the radiation level of each image test should be. The level of radiation from the tests you have been given is most likely safe, but don't expose yourself more than is necessary. It is advisable to see a specialist like a radiologist or oncologist if you have any worries and to take the best action.
