Vajira Hospital

Vajira Hospital in Bangkok was one of the earliest hospitals established by King Rama VI, and it now serves as a teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine at Navamindradhiraj University, as well as an associated teaching hospital of the Faculty of Medicine at Srinakharinwirot University.

It is highly renowned for its clinical services, medical education, and urban pharmaceutical initiatives, and is funded and operated by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA).

It features a number of specialized departments, but its Centers of Excellence in Cardiology, Oncology, Neurosurgery, Kidney, and Trauma are particularly well-known. One of the best emergency facilities in Bangkok is the Trauma Center.
