I am a 39 year old woman and am having an issue with my skin on my chin for the last 2 weeks. After friction from making out with someone new. He did not have a beard. Maybe slight stubble but really not noticeable. My skin became raw and I put Vaseline on it and neosporin. After about a week acne started appearing. I changed my regimen to a salicylic acid ointment and moisturizer. It seems to help a bit but not a lot. My skin is less raw but still splotchy and red with acne. I have not ever struggled with skin issues. Should I keep up the acne treatment? Should I do something else? It peels and is uncomfortable (it stings with the ointment but once it dries it doesn’t hurt but it does bother me). I’m traveling in Brazil now but am from the US. Any help appreciated before I head home! I plan to see a dermatologist PA when I get back.
Female | 39
Your skin seems irritated by friction. The rawness, redness, and acne result from that. Using salicylic acid ointment helps acne. Continue applying it. Gently wash your skin, moisturize too. Consult a dermatologist for guidance.

Is it possible to get rid my stretchmark
Female | 27
Stretch marks are lines that appear on the skin when it is stretched a lot, such as during pregnancy. They may start as red or purple but gradually fade to a lighter color. To help reduce their appearance, you can use moisturizers or creams containing retinol or hyaluronic acid to keep your skin hydrated and healthy. Additionally, maintaining a healthy weight and drinking plenty of water can also help. However, remember that reducing stretch marks takes time, so be patient and stick to your skincare routine consistently.

These appearing spots might be due to a rash-like condition called Contact Dermatitis or may even occur as an infection like Folliculitis. The first thing you can do is keep the affected area moisturized and dry in case there is a significant amount of this. However, to be sure, these spots must be seen by a dermatologist to be able to give the appropriate treatment.

Hello i am 21 years old, I did an ankle tattoo on Tuesday and since then my foot is hurting me specially when I walk, I don't know if it's relatable but I got my ankle sprained 6months ago so I don't know if I shouldn't do it on the samw ankle, I'm worried if there's something danger or it's normal and the pain will fade away soon, please if you can help me thank you
Female | 21
It is totally normal to get some pain and abrasions after getting a tattoo, especially when it comes to ankles because ankles have the thinnest skin. But the pain that lingers or gets worse strongly suggests a medical concern. In this case, one should definitely visit a doctor, ideally a dermatologist, in order to exclude or confirm the possibility of infection or an allergic reaction. With your past ankle sprain history, it would be advantageous to talk an orthopedist too, and to watch that the your tattoo is not interfering with the healing process.

Fungal infections are usually fungal diseases that manifest as rashes and irritated skin that can be red and itchy. The main cause is moisture getting stuck on the skin, which in turn creates spores of fungi that are unable to survive. To treat it, keep the area clean and dry and wear loose clothing as well as use antifungal creams as directed by a dermatologist.

Why im getting dry it by skin in patches
Male | 54
Your skin may be dehydrated in patches. This could be due to many reasons, such as a lack of moisture, harsh soaps, or skin conditions like eczema. Dry skin can feel rough, scratchy, or even fissure. To help, try washing your kids' hair using a soap that is formulated for them. Use a thick cream or ointment which you should apply daily for at least a week. Also, drink plenty of water. These problems may be caused by factors such as heat exposure, traffic pollution, and using the wrong hair products. To improve the volume and shine of your hair, use a nourishing shampoo and conditioner, limit heat styling, and detangle your hair gently. Consider including hair masks or serums to provide your hair with extra nutrients. As for Cureskin products, it would be best to do some research and read user reviews to determine if they are effective. If you remember to use gentle products and treatments on your hair, you will improve both its health and appearance over time.

How to clear knife scars from hand
Female | 20
Scars from knife wounds can appear as stubborn lines etched on your hand. These marks result when a blade pierces through skin. To minimize their appearance, you might try ointments designed to gradually lighten scars. Additionally, bandaging protects the area as healing progresses. It requires patience, as improving scar visibility takes time. Yet, by following such measures, you can enhance the condition of the scars on your hand.
