A pulmonologist is a physician that specializes in the diagnosis by performing the arterial blood gas test to assess the organ functions of the patients and treatment for illnesses of the respiratory system like asthma, pulmonary hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pulmonary fibrosis, which affects the lungs and other organs that aid in breathing.

You may be able to obtain all of the treatment you need from your normal doctor for certain relatively short-term diseases that damage your lungs, such as the flu or pneumonia. However, if your cough, shortness of breath, or other symptoms persist, you should consult a pulmonologist. Even for cancers like the lung cancer, pulmonologists are looking forward to the new lung cancer treatment that is a effective way of curing cancer.

India has some of the best pulmonologists in Bangalore have given very good results in the treatment. Most pulmonologists will first recommend you a bronchoscopy or a PFT Test

I want to know about the TB

Female | 55

TB, a common shorthand term for tuberculosis, is a life-threatening disease caused by bacteria that mainly affect the lungs. Humans with TB might experience, amongst others, the following peculiar signs: prolonged cough, chest pain, losing weight, and fatigue. The transmission occurs when a TB patient coughs or sneezes with a built-in airway and thus spreads the bacteria from person to person.

i'm been detect have influenza. Tamiflu are no longer have used to me. May i know any other medicine or option that can reduce the effect of influenza?

Male | 27

The flu is caused by a virus, not bacteria. It can make you feel sick with symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, and body aches. Since taking Tamiflu is not in the picture anymore, it is vital that you take good rest, drink lots of water, and take pain relievers like acetaminophen or ibuprofen to help get rid of the symptoms. These help to relieve illness and severe pain. Make sure to stay at home and avoid infecting other people with flu.
