The pain may come from a minor cut that is located near the vagina and is more intense when urinating. The injury could be the trauma, such as accidentally scratching yourself with nails. It is possible to get cuts in that area, but the good news is that they usually cure themselves spontaneously with time. Maintain the region clean and dry, wear loose clothing, and avoid scratching it. However, if the pain continues and worsens, you should see a gynecologist for a correct diagnosis and treatment.

Had accidental dried semen touch on vulva 4 days after finishing period a month ago. Took levonogestrel within 24 hours, period came 7 days after. Took pregnancy test kit today and came back negative, am I safe?
Female | 20
This case has a low likelihood of pregnancy because you took emergency contraception right away. The negative test result also shows it's improbable. You're doing well by being proactive! However, if anything seems off or you have concerns, it's smart to see a gynecologist.

You need to seek medical advice for proper diagnosis and treatment. Keep the area clean and dry and wear loose clothing. Over the counter creams may provide temporary relief, but consulting a gynecologist or dermatologists is essential for a thorough evaluation and appropriate treatment.

My wife period heavy bleading.Feet hurt, stomach aches, vomiting, I can't eat fish, eggs, I'm hungry, but I can't eat, I can't sleep. Bleeding occurs due to vein tension
Female | 18
Your wife is likely experiencing a painful period with heavy bleeding, along with foot pain, stomach aches, vomiting, and difficulty eating. These symptoms may be due to increased pressure in the blood vessels. Rest, drink plenty of water, and eat light, easy-to-digest foods. Avoid fish and eggs for now, as they may upset the stomach. If the symptoms persist, it’s best to consult a gynecologist for further advice.

My periods are not stop but there is not heavy bleeding only i had blood clots
Female | 20
This could be caused by hormonal imbalance or certain medications or because of uterine fibroids. The blood clots are pieces of the lining in your uterus that come out during your period. To deal with this, you should drink lots of water, eat well, and seek advice from a gynecologist on what to do next for treatment.

I had unprotected sex on 16march 2024 and my periods date is 25 march 2024. Is there any chance I can get pregnant
Female | 22
There's a pregnancy risk if you have unprotected sex around your period time. A missed period is the primary sign indicating potential pregnancy. Pregnancy occurs when sperm fertilizes an egg. To prevent pregnancy, using protection during sexual activity is crucial. If you think you might be pregnant, taking a pregnancy test can confirm the situation.

I am 21 years old and I've been vomiting and I also have a bloated stomach, I don't know what's wrong with me but I suspect pregnancy because I had sex with my boyfriend about three weeks ago but I was on my period and he did not release inside me so I'm confused
Female | 21
These symptoms may also come from diseases like a stomach bug or food poisoning. If you're stressed out about pregnancy, you could take a test to make sure. Remember, it's always good to talk to a gynecologist, if you're not feeling well.

I'm on my 4th day of period.but my blood flow is low than normal I only have a little amount of blood in first 2day.and no cramps as usual...and I'm sick I have fever and body pain...is there any chance I'm pregnant
Female | 22
It is perfectly natural for blood flow to be inconsistent during a menstrual cycle. Sometimes it may be lighter with less cramping. It’s quite common to experience a fever and body aches while menstruating – this doesn’t necessarily mean that you are pregnant. However, if you want to make sure, take a pregnancy test after your period ends. If your symptoms are worrying you, keep yourself hydrated and get plenty of rest.

my stomach has stayed bloated for the past 4 days now. i felt flutter like kicks for about 3 seconds last night whilst laying down in bed. it feels full i took a pregnancy test and it came back and said on the stick “not pregnant” but i only tested once. i’m supposed to be due on my period but my periods have always been irregular. some months though have been on time most haven’t. my period did come very very early at the start of july. the last day of my period before that for example, was on 28th june and then came back for 3 days starting on 12th july. i haven’t really had extreme pain or discomfort, only slightly but i never really experience discomfort/pain when i’m supposed to be due on they’re always very minor.
Female | 21
You may be presenting symptoms of bloating and irregular periods. There are many causes for bloating, including, among other things, gas and constipation. To some people, irregular periods can be part of the norm. The fluttering you sensed may be due to muscle contractions. Talk with a gynecologist if the symptoms continue or worsen for more recommendations.

Female | 25
Missing a period can happen for many reasons, like stress, weight changes, or hormonal imbalances. It's common for women not to get their period without being pregnant. However, if it continues, it's a good idea to consult a doctor. They may suggest tests or treatments to help. Always reach out to a gynecologist if you're concerned about your body.

Girlfriend had sperm on her hand and accidentally touched her vagina on the surface right after washing her hands with tap water. She said her hand was still sticky like.. is there chance of pregnancy. she was on her safe days too.
Female | 19
I would like to tell you not to worry that you will get pregnant under these circumstances. Sperm is vitally short-lived in the wild and the probability of it getting into the vagina and fertilizing the egg is negligible. Although in most cases this should pose no alarm, if you have any atypical symptoms or worries, you should consult a gynecologist for a professional checkup and advice.

Hello doctor. Me and my partner didn’t had sex but on 4th July, I gave him oral and kissed him on the lips with his precum on my lips. Is there a chance of pregnancy? I’ve irregular periods and my due date was near. Today morning I saw bleeding in my vagina thinking it’s periods but my periods are not so light. I’ve a heavy flow. So I took the unwanted 72 within 48 hours. But 6 hours after taking the pill also, I can see light red blood spots on the toilet paper. Could it be ovulation bleeding or is it because I took the pill on my period day. I’ve medium-dry vagina with minimum discharge. And will I have withdrawal blood if the sperm didn’t went inside my vagina? Should I take a pregnancy test? And when will I have my regular periods? I’m really scared. I hope you’ll answer my queries.
Female | 19
The chances of getting pregnant from oral sex are quite low, but it is not ruled out. The bleeding you may have had after taking the unwanted 72 pill could, indeed, be attributed to the pill itself affecting your menstrual cycle. This can cause spotting or irregular bleeding. Such a thing is not a sign of ovulation bleeding. You can experience a late or early period as well as any of the above. The important thing is to monitor the symptoms enough and give enough time. Recall the pill can throw off your cycle. If you are concerned, be patient, and take a pregnancy test to make sure. Avoid stressing out, because stress can also be why your periods are irregular.

I want to ask about my wifes late period problem this month
Female | 24
Periods can be delayed at times. Stress, changes in weight, or hormonal imbalances can be the reasons for it. Unanticipated pregnancy, thyroid conditions, or polycystic ovary syndrome are also likely causes of it. It is advisable to get along with a gynecologist to determine the specific cause if your wife undergoes other symptoms such as pain, nausea, or unusual bleeding.

Hello how are you. I had sex on 5th march and got my period 14 march. April too I see my period and may also can I still be pregnant please help me
Female | 21
It seems unlikely that you would be pregnant if you had a period in March, April, and May after having sex on March 5th. Having regular periods indicates that you're not pregnant.

I had sex with my boyfriend then Insert implanon now my stomach is growing bigger also I'm having some pregnancy symptoms but pregnancy test is negative I don't know what's going on my stomach also have linea nigra
Female | 18
It seems you have a growing belly, signs that resemble pregnancy, and a line called linea nigra. While concerning, a negative test suggests the cause differs. Implanon birth control may be behind the hormone shifts mimicking pregnancy's effects. Consulting a gynecologist would provide clarity on this situation.

Not having anti-D within 72 hours after an abortion may pose a potential threat to future pregnancies. If you are Rh-negative and the fetus is Rh-positive, you are at risk of complications. This mismatch can make your system generate antibodies that may interfere with future pregnancies of Rh-positive blood. You must visit your gynecologist the alternatives and the possible complications concerning your case. What are the potential alternatives that can be taken for a safer pregnancy?
Female | 24
In the case of the mother having Rh-negative blood and the baby Rh-positive blood, there are measures to ensure a safer pregnancy. One choice is the injection of a substance known as Rh immunoglobulin within 72 hours after some procedures, such as an abortion. In this way, your body will be prevented from producing dangerous antibodies. Such a therapy is essential in the possible protection of future pregnancies from any complications.

One of my friends has taken MTP kit and she got huge period in 1st day for 5 hours and after that she get normal bleeding till third day and after that she is seeing some spot and having little clotting but its her 8th day and she is facing back pain and stomach pain and some times she is not able to control it. Please let us know till now long the period will last and suggest something
Female | 26
Period changes are quite normal. You might have heavier bleeding than usual or see blood clots. There could even be light bleeding or spotting that lasts for up to a week or more. In addition, backaches and stomach cramps will also be experienced during this time. To alleviate the pain, your friend can use a heating pad, take a warm bath, rest, and drink warm beverages such as tea. However, in case the pain becomes severe or if she gets concerned about anything else related to it, she should talk to her gynecologist for further assistance.

Okay. I wanted to know if it’s possible for a specific person to throwing off my ph balance and why is that. Like why would that be ? It’s only happened with him specifically and not anyone else .. why is that ? Is there something nh wrong with him ? Because I’m okay on my own it’s just that when we have sex I get a bv or a yeast infection or just feel irritated. I went to the doctor and they gave me and him medication to take and it still happens .. everytime … why ?
Female | 24
There can be factors contributing to changes in vaginal pH balance and the occurrence of vaginal infections. Sexual activity, particularly with a new partner, can sometimes disrupt the natural balance of bacteria in the vagina, leading to infections like bacterial vaginosis (BV) or yeast infections. This can happen due to the introduction of new bacteria or an alteration in the vaginal environment.

I have bacteria vagosis for a long time I had been using antibiotics for treatment but it came back and sometimes I don't treat it at all but my cervical mucus is like normal I'm scared if I'm going to have problems in future especially in matters for pregnancy
Female | 18
The antibiotic usage might alleviate symptoms temporarily, and yet the main cause of infection should be treated to avoid further complications. However, procrastination in treatment can cause sterility problems later on and, particularly during pregnancy. Thus, it is recommended to see a specialist and follow the prescribed treatment prescription.
