Before my father had a chest wall tumour surgery, the report indicated spindle cell sarcoma,grade3 ,9.4cm on the chest wall. The resection margin is close to the tumour ,pathologic stage 2. Hello! After the immunohistochemistry test and the finalization of the tumor category, we mostly think that radiation therapy would be required for your father. Apart from radiotherapy, if any other treatments are required then you will have to send your father's latest histopathology report. Hope this adds value to you. You can also refer our page and seek consultation from relevant practitioners - Oncologist In India.

Male | 43

If someone you know is dealing with liver cancer, ask them to consult a specialist in liver diseases and cancers to determine the extent and stage of the cancer. Based on the diagnosis, the doctors will recommend treatment options like surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy. They need to focus on managing symptoms and side effects, maintain a healthy lifestyle, and consider joining support groups. Regular check-ups and collaboration with their oncologist team will be important for monitoring and managing the cancer effectively.

Hello, I am 75 years old male suffering from esophageal cancer (malignant sq. cell Carcinoma, grade-II). Please suggest me treatment for the same.

Male | 75

Treatment depends on the stage of cancer, health condition and patient's age. Surgery, chemo, radiation therapy or a combination of all these may be included in the treatment. But that can be confirmed after physical diagnosis. At an early stage, surgery may be the only treatment. If advanced stage then chemotherapy and radiation therapy may be required to shrink the tumor before or after surgery.

Keeley Mums cancer has spread too far and has been deemed too aggressive for surgery. It started off in the breast and has spread to her brain, throat, lungs, liver and now also into her lymph nodes... She has been referred to oncology, who will look at her case and decide whether she is a fit for chemotherapy, and once they meet her they will decide if she is strong enough to go through it. IF mum is able to have the chemo, she will either be given a course of tablets to take, I believe they are one tablet a week. Or she will be given chemo via an IV and will have to go to once every three weeks for a few hours. If mum decides not to have chemo she will be referred to palliative care

Female | 67

If breast cancer advances to the brain, throat, lungs, liver, and lymph nodes, it is advanced cancer. Breast Cancer naturally develops in the cells of the human breast. But when cancer cells are balooned in size, it is called breast tumor. Chemotherapy treatment is regarded as one of the most popular therapies for advanced Breast Cancer. Chemotherapy can be done as an outpatient procedure if your mom can physically handle the treatment..
