My wife's age is 41 years and she got operated on by laparoscopy on 21 February 2020 for stone in gallblader. However, histopathological report of the gallbladder which has been cut out shows Carcinoma grade 2. Please guide me for further treatment.
41 year old lady underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy for gallbladder stones, post surgery if biopsy turned to be cancer, we need to evaluate and treat further. My question is what else treatment u had after diagnosis of cancer. Usually we do PET CT scan to know stage followed by radical cholecystectomy for gallbladder cancer. Frankly speaking gallbladder cancer per se has poor prognosis only

Hi I am Nehal. My brother is 48 years old and we are from Rajkot. He was not well for the last few weeks so we consulted with our family doctor. My husband was diagnosed with cancer four months ago. Doctors initially assumed it was bone cancer, but after the pathology report came, we came to know that it's stage 4 kidney cancer. Some of our known people suggested immunotherapy as chemotherapy doesn't go for kidney cancer. We want an expert opinion on whether this is true and in that case what we should do now.

My aunt got a tumor in the kidney in 2014 and found cancer. She was 35 at that time. Since then, she has been surviving with only the right kidney. She is a diabetic patient too. Last month diagnosed with some abnormality on her other kidney too. Though it was nothing severe and was treated with medicine. But we are worried that if the other kidney also gets affected, what are her survival chances?
Having only one kidney does not affect the quality of life to a very high extent, but any disease or disorder of the remaining kidney can be fatal and will require immediate treatment. The most important thing is such a scenario is regular follow ups with nephrologist and routine investigations such as blood tests and ultrasonography tests. This improves and also increases the chances of survivals.
