Should I Pursue Chemo for Aggressive Breast Cancer Spread?
Keeley Mums cancer has spread too far and has been deemed too aggressive for surgery. It started off in the breast and has spread to her brain, throat, lungs, liver and now also into her lymph nodes... She has been referred to oncology, who will look at her case and decide whether she is a fit for chemotherapy, and once they meet her they will decide if she is strong enough to go through it. IF mum is able to have the chemo, she will either be given a course of tablets to take, I believe they are one tablet a week. Or she will be given chemo via an IV and will have to go to once every three weeks for a few hours. If mum decides not to have chemo she will be referred to palliative care

If breast cancer advances to the brain, throat, lungs, liver, and lymph nodes, it is advanced cancer. Breast Cancer naturally develops in the cells of the human breast. But when cancer cells are balooned in size, it is called breast tumor. Chemotherapy treatment is regarded as one of the most popular therapies for advanced Breast Cancer. Chemotherapy can be done as an outpatient procedure if your mom can physically handle the treatment..

I have pain in my throat।।I m a smoker do I have throat cancer
Male | 30
Persistent throat pain can have many causes.. and while smoking is a known risk factor for throat cancer, it doesn't necessarily mean you have cancer if you experience throat pain. There are many other possible reasons for throat discomfort, like infections, allergies, acid reflux, or even smoking-related issues like irritation and inflammation. If you're very concerned you can visit for a checkup at your nearest cancer hospital.

I want to know about Triple-negative breast cancer as our doctor hinted that my aunt has signs of this specific type of breast cancer.
Female | 57
The term triple-negative breast cancer means that the cancer cells do not have estrogen or progesterone receptors and does not make too much of the protein called HER2. ( therefore the cells test "negative" on all 3 tests.)
Triple-negative breast cancer has less treatment options available than other types of invasive breast cancer. The reason being the cancer cells do not have enough estrogen or progesterone receptors or HER2 protein for hormone therapy or targeted drugs to work.
Treatment options are chemotherapy, radiation therapy, surgery mainly. But consulting clinician on time and starting the treatment is important. Regular follow up with doctor with lifestyle modifications and counselling will help. Consult an oncologist.
Hope our answer helps you.

My father have oral cancer I want to know about car t cell therapy
Male | 72
CAR-T cell therapy is a type of immune therapy, which can be beneficial in treating some cancers, but not always. A doctor will be able to find out whether such therapy suits his condition and to advise him on the best therapy in his case. It is vital to consult an oncologist to receive the best in terms of treatment.

Female | 54
Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer is beyond the breast and has reared its ugly head in other body parts. It can be a painful body with a few other symptoms could be: shortness of breath, fatigue, and weight loss. The cancer cells are the cause of this manifesting so dangerously. Medication can come in the form of chemotherapy, radiation therapy, hormone therapy, and even surgery, but this depends on the person’s condition. Your mother must consult with an oncologist so they can choose the most appropriate treatment for her.

One of my friend is suffering from CLL, he is 23, and sometimes he go through bleeding and fever, are there chances of him being fine again?
Male | 23
There is no guaranteed cure for chronic lymphocytic leukemia. Long term outlook may vary with individual specific cases. Chemotherapy may help to manage the disease, but the goal is usually to help manage symptoms and slow down the progression of the disease.

Female | 21
If the cracking of nipple is not responding to ointment what needs to be ruled out is a Paget's disease of the nipple. This requires a clinical examination by a breast surgeon and he or she can guide you further on the same.

How can one know she has breast cancer
Female | 20
It is possible to diagnose breast cancer by self-examination in that you have a look and feel for any lumps or other abnormal changes in the tissue. However, please note that breast cancer can also be symptomless, so a person needs to have examinations by an endocrinologist or gynecologist once in a while.

I want to know about the early signs of throat cancer. What are the treatment options for it? If throat cancer is detected in its early stages, can it be cured without visiting any hospital?
Early signs of throat cancer can be persistent cough, throat irritation, wheezing, difficulty in swallowing, unexplained fatigue, weight loss and many more, but to treat any kind of disease you need to visit a doctor, don't come to a conclusion and don't try to treat it yourself.
Consult a doctor and get evaluated and have one to one consultation with an oncologist to get a better idea of your concerns. Consult Cancer Treatment doctors in Mumbai or any other city nearest to you. Hope our answer helps you.
