Blood clots after abortion is it dangerous to retain

1 Answer

Answered on 23rd May '24

Yes, leftover blood clots from the abortion may be harmful to you. As retained blood clots grow, it can lead to extreme situations such as infection and other complications. Seeing a gynecologist will be one of the key stages that will help to get proper evaluation and treatment.

Make out with bf and now scared that I might be pregnant but there was no ejaculation or penitration as guy confirmed that not as such happened and now I'm very stressed as I have pcod and my periods come one week early as last was on 30th and end by 6th October and makeout on 21st October. What are the precautions now to be taken for not having single change of getting pregnant

Female | 28

The probability of pregnancy would stay quite low if there was no ejaculation or penetration. Your PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) could be the reason why the cycle was irregular, and that is maybe why the period came early. See if there are any weird symptoms but most likely you are not pregnant. If you're truly concerned, testing for pregnancy and calming your mind by doing the test will be a good idea.

I am 33 years old woman..I took abortion pills misoprost and mifegerine and I just get little blood than it stops...plzz tell me what to do..is my abortion complete or not.

Female | 33

Taking abortion pills can make you bleed a little but it is usual to have some bleeding. If the bleeding goes away quickly and you have only a small amount of bleeding after, it can mean that the abortion is done. Just chill out and see how you feel. If you have intense pain, fever, or heavy bleeding, go to the nearest hospital without delay.

I'm 20 weeks pregnant with twins. My stomach become more hard suddenly

Female | 25

Please see your Obstetrician as soon as possible. The toughening of the stomach during pregnancy can be a symptom of Braxton Hicks contractions, but they do no harm and are normal. However, it can be a signal of early labor and preterm birth along with severe pain, pain, bleeding, and discharge.

I’ve had chalymdia several times, and I got treated twice and I was wondering if my iud might have chalymdia on it making me not get rid of it.

Female | 18

Chlamydia is a very common sexually transmitted infection (STI). Chlamydia is not caused by an IUD in your body. The infection is in your body, not on your IUD. You need to be treated properly according to what your doctor prescribes to be rid of chlamydia. The most important thing to do is to treat partners as well, thus preventing re-infection.

It is indeed probable that what you are feeling is an allergic reaction. You are advised to make an appointment with a dermatologist to diagnose and treat. In this case, they will diagnose the underlying cause of your issue and suggest the needed solution. Get medical help immediately
