A delay can be the result of a variety of reasons, from stress to hormonal fluctuations to a change in one's lifestyle. A panicky feeling may result from engaging in sexual intercourse close to the time of the expected period and thus affect the cycle. To eliminate the possibility of pregnancy, which is one of the main sources of this anxiety, think of the home pregnancy test. If the home test confirms that you are not pregnant, and your menstruation does not start within a short period, or if you observe abnormal symptoms, I would suggest seeking advice and reassurance by talking to a gynecologist provider.

What are the effects and considerations 20 years after a hysterectomy?

Female | 46

Women may have side effects after a hysterectomy, including hot flashes, vaginal dryness and mood changes. Long-term implications include a higher risk for cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. In this case, it would be best to seek advice from a gynecologist regarding post hysterectomy treatment and any questions you may have.

After having fibroids removed in December 2022, if you want to get pregnant, it's important to consult your gynecologist or surgeon for personalized advice. They will determine when it's safe for you to start trying to conceive based on your specific case and recovery progress.

I am Pratibha Gupta and I have little bit pain in my left breast since last 13-14 days when press. So kindly suggest . which specialist doctor required this.

Female | 32

Consult a breast specialist or a gynecologist who specializes in breast health. They'll assess your symptoms & conduct a clinical examination to determine the appropriate course of action. If required further diagnostic tests, such as a mammogram or ultrasound also can be done.

The bumps on labia may be a cause of an infection or STD. It is strongly advisable that an individual visit a gynecologist to receive proper diagnosis and treatment.

I had an unprotected sex with my partner and my period date is coming near on 1 June.....is there any chances of pregnancy

Female | 27

There is a chance of getting pregnant if you have unprotected sex around the time when your period is supposed to start. Some common early signs of pregnancy are missing a period, feeling tired, being sick to your stomach, or having tender breasts. The best thing for you to do next would be to wait until after your period is due and then take a test if it has not started yet.
