Can creatine will be reduced from 6.2

Answered on 23rd May '24

A creatine level of 6.2 likely refers to serum creatinine, which is a measure of kidney function. High levels of serum creatinine can indicate potential kidney dysfunction. Treatment may involve managing conditions, staying hydrated, adjusting medications, making dietary changes, and monitoring kidney health.

About colostomy closser I want to know how long the patient can live after this operation

Male | 53

Closure of colostomy represents a surgical intervention to reverse a colostomy. The patient may be expected to live a normal life post-surgery depending on the other medical conditions, age, or reason for the colostomy. For the correct examination as well as useful counseling afterward, it is better to see a professional colorectal surgery specialist.

Went to urgent care yesterday morning for fever, aches, and chills with no other symptoms. They gave me antibiotics for UTI. Having back pain that’s making me nauseous. Should I go to the ER?

Female | 37

You're dealing with back pain and nausea after a UTI treatment. Back pain combined with nausea could indicate a kidney infection. Kidney infections require quick attention. Going to the ER for an evaluation might be wise. They can diagnose the issue and provide the proper treatment.

I am an 18 year old female. I have been preparing for competitive exams for almost a year now. everything was going okay I used to feel a little sleepy while studying in the morning after 6 to 7 hours of sleep. But recently I have been sleeping 6 to 7 hours at night but feeling too tired all day especially when I am studying, I have my exam next month. I am unable to study I am trying so hard but I still feel so sleepy all day. I also missed my periods last month.

Female | 18

You are experiencing a lot of stress from exams. Feeling drained and missing periods could indicate stress-induced hormone imbalance. When stressed, your hormones get disrupted, causing fatigue and irregular menstruation. To manage this, rest adequately, maintain a nutritious diet, and consider counseling for stress-coping techniques. Remember to take study breaks periodically and prioritize self-care practices.

I had bppv since last week from 18'th Feb 2024 diagnosed by a doctor and was prescribed vertin 10 mg took it for 5 days still had slight dizziness so he increased my doze to vertin 16 I have been taking it from past 2 days and now have no signs or symptoms of bppv should I continue taking vertin 16 ?

Female | 17

It is advised to consult your doctor before continuing any medication. Vertin 16 mg is a higher dose compared to Vertin 10 mg and should be taken only after consultation with a specialist. An ENT specialist has to be consulted for the same, which he will give a proper examination for and prescribe the medicine accordingly.

I started Prednisolone (25mg) 2 days ago, for an allergic reaction. I am supposed to take full doses for 3 days, then half does for 3 and then stop. I believe this medication is affecting other medications I am currently taking. Am I able to stop taking it?

Female | 27

I suggest you don't stop prednisolone abruptly. It is necessary to finish the whole set of drugs in accordance with your doctor's prescription. If you have any side effects or drug interactions you should talk to your doctor. They can assess the unique requirements of your case and alter the treatment plan for you.

I'm female 47 year old, recreantly diagnosed with HPyori. I had to start my treatments for Pylori: my family doctor prescribe to me: Bismol 262mg x every six hours two tablets, Pantoprazole 40 mg - 1 TAB / 2 times daily, Tetracycline 250mg - 2 TAB / 4 times daily , Metronidazole 250mg - 2 TAB / 4 times daily. As that is a lot medication to be taken every 24 hrs. for 14 days, I am little bit confused for timing all of those medication. Allergy on Penicillin and Ibuprofen, Also I was today tested for Bismol and did not have any reaction, so my doctor told me that I am fine of taking Bismol as well. I am woondering if I can I take Bismol at the same time with Synthroid.

Female | 47

The medication that was prescribed to you for treatment of the H. pylori infection should be taken as recommended by your doctor. It is crucial to precisely follow the dose and time of medications for proper treatment. However, if you are unclear about the time of medication administration consult with your physician or pharmacist. On Bismol and Synthroid interactions, see an endocrinologist who can offer a comprehensive assessment as well as treatment plan.
