I have suspected genital herpes and had a 5 day course of Aciclovir which finished about 12 days ago. It was improving but I can feel another sore coming. Is this a new outbreak or oart of the same outbreak and do I take another course of Aciclovir?
An old sore and a new one on the genital area may be part of the same outbreak. It is strongly advised that you get a dermatologist’s or a sexually transmitted infections specialist’s opinion for a proper diagnosis. They could evaluate your situation and see if Aciclovir is still a good therapeutic option or not.

Hello! Since I’m a teenager I have B.O But since a year ago, I noticed that sometimes my armpits smells like urine.
Teenagers generally face body odor because of hormonal fluctuations. Nevertheless, if you come across a smell of urine, it is better to seek treatment from dermatologists and endocrinologists to get an underlying medical condition ruled out.

What could be causing my spreading, sore head sore?
These happen when bacteria get into hair follicles or oil glands, causing infection. To treat it, you should use warm compresses on the area. This helps drain it and heal it. Don't pick or squeeze the sore! That could make the infection worse. Keep the area clean by washing it gently. You can also try over-the-counter antibiotic ointments to aid healing. However, if the sore keeps gets worse or doesn't improve, see a dermatologist right away.

Why is my thumb tip swollen and painful?
An infection seems likely in your thumb. Swelling, thick yellow skin, and soreness are symptoms. Cuts or scrapes allowing bacteria entry can cause this. As treatment, gently cleanse with soap and water. Apply antibiotic ointment, then bandage. Consult a dermatologist if no improvement occurs.

Why is my ringworm not improving after 1 year?
A stubborn fungal infection seems troublesome. Ringworm triggers red, itchy, scaly skin patches. Defeating it proves difficult sometimes. One way: antifungal meds like Terbinafine or Clotrimazole, used consistently over weeks. Keep affected areas clean and dry. Don't share personal items. With persisting infection, dermatologists can suggest other treatments.
