Patient's Query

Dr I.am 17 years old and i have done a mistake of intimating but I'm very much sure that the reproductive part of a male was not properly in the vagina but i am scared of pre ejections Dr my monthly periods are normal like my periods go 4-5 days delayed every month.. My date was at 15 but it delayed we both did not wanted to take risk of pregnancy so i took I pills before 72 hrs still it's already 2 days after taking the pills I didn't get my periods

Answered by Dr. Mohit Saraogi

Emergency contraception can sometimes cause a delay in your period, as hormonal changes can affect your cycle. If your periods are typically regular, this delay may be a side effect. Monitor your symptoms over the next few days. If your period does not arrive within a week, consider taking a pregnancy test to rule out any concerns. Also, it’s a good idea to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice and reassurance.

In the case of the mother having Rh-negative blood and the baby Rh-positive blood, there are measures to ensure a safer pregnancy. One choice is the injection of a substance known as Rh immunoglobulin within 72 hours after some procedures, such as an abortion. missed periods ...................................................................

Female | 19

Variant reasons can come up with missing menstruation, like stress, fluctuations in weight, or hormonal deficiencies that cause it. If you haven't had your period, try to watch for other symptoms that may have come along with it, such as headaches or mood swings. If you worry, it's better to go and talk to someone you feel secure with, such as a parent or school nurse, who can then show you what to do to be of better help to yourself.
