Could I be pregnant after taking iPill twice?
My husband and I had sexual intercourse on January 29th, and after that, we took the iPill tablet. After that, we had sexual intercourse again on February 6th. Then, I got my period on February 8th. So, is there any chance of getting pregnant?

Gynecologist
Answered on 25th Feb '25
Since you received your period on February 8th following the use of emergency contraception, it's highly unlikely you are pregnant. The period indicates that your body is functioning normally, and it often suggests that ovulation did not occur during that cycle. However, if you have any remaining concerns or experience unusual symptoms, it's wise to consult a gynecologist for personalized advice. They can provide additional guidance and reassurance tailored to your circumstances.

3 month new born baby .mom was not breastfeeding because milk supply is low some times not coming .u tell me breast feeding is increasing milk supply.
Female | 25
Moms sometimes experience low milk supply. Though it may seem concerning, there are simple steps you can take. Nursing frequently sends a message to your body to produce more milk. Also, eating nutritious foods and drinking plenty of fluids aids production. Pay attention to your baby's hunger cues - these can stimulate increased supply. With time and commitment, your milk should increase, so try to relax and be patient.

Female | Pebie ann panaligan
Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) can cause various symptoms, including irregular menstruation, weight gain, and acne. It arises from hormonal imbalances, often affecting insulin levels. Managing PCOS typically involves lifestyle changes such as maintaining a balanced diet and regular exercise, which can help regulate your menstrual cycle and improve overall well-being. Medications may also be recommended to address specific symptoms. It's essential to have an open discussion with your gynecologist regarding your concerns and treatment options, as they can offer personalized guidance and support tailored to your needs.

I am 22 years of age experiencing period pains but no periods
Female | 22
This can happen to some people. Usually, it is nothing to worry about. The stresses, hormonal changes, or normal body changes might be the reasons for these pains. You can try light exercise to feel better. Also, you can apply a warm compress to your lower belly or take over-the-counter pain relief medicine like ibuprofen if needed.

Hi, I have a lump on the inside of my labia, where the soft hairless skin is, it’s situated quite deep under my skin and is about a centimeter long. it hurt for a day and now it’s numb. what is it?
Female | 25
A cyst is probably causing that lump and numbness. It's a fluid-filled sac that grows in the body. The swelling likely caused pain initially. But now numbness suggests the liquid released pressure. Blocked glands or hair follicles can form these cysts. If it doesn't bother you, leave it be. However, if it grows bigger or causes more discomfort, see a gynecologist promptly.

Maam I'm 7 weeks pregnant, l had consumed hing in pomogranate seed size, is it danger or I will det miscarriage? I am afraid of tat plz reply to me
Female | 20
Consuming asafoetida, even in pomegranate seed size, is generally safe during pregnancy. It's a little bit impossible to miscarry this one. In case you feel strange such as having intense belly pains, a lot of blood including stains, or giddiness, you must seek help from your health doctor. Seek peace and avoid being too anxious. Your body is strong and small amounts of asafoetida can be tolerated. A balanced diet and your doctor's advice for a healthy pregnancy are still the things you should remember.

I'm on depo vera and haven't been on my periods for months, yet this month I got heavy bleeding for a week and after that I've been getting brown discharge for a month now, I get random period pains and sometimes nausea
Female | 20
You seem to experience changes with your menstrual cycle while using Depo Vera. Heavy bleeding followed by brown discharge and random cramps could happen due to hormonal imbalance. This is something that can occur with hormonal contraceptives. Nausea might also be related to this. It would be wise to discuss these symptoms with your gynecologist. They might make adjustments to your birth control method to help regulate your period.

I didn't get my periods on time even though still I didn't get the periods with that the I have a back pain use hair loss and a weight gain so please let me know all the reasons why this is happening.
Female | 24
You might have signs of hormone imbalance. When hormones are not in equilibrium, it can lead to irregular periods, back pains, hair loss, and weight gain. Stress, poor nutrition, and certain medical conditions may cause this lack of balance. To regulate your hormones, concentrate on proper nutrition, stress management, and regular physical activity. If these warnings continue, it’s important to seek help from a gynecologist for more check-ups and treatment.

Please answer this. I’m anxious and loosing my self. Is it absolutely certain that an ultrasound scan done at 14 weeks after intercourse would detect a pregnancy? I had an intercourse on October 24 that did not include vaginal penetration or ejaculation, but there was rubbing around the anal region. She got her periods on November 8, December 6, and January 3. A urine pregnancy test was done on December 30 using evening urine, and it showed a clear negative result. Out of curiosity, she had an ultrasound scan on January 28 at a clinic, and they said there was no pregnancy. However, I’m still unable to convince myself that nothing happened. Please confirm if, even in the case of a cryptic pregnancy, the ultrasound scan done on January 28 would have absolutely detected? Is there any chance of pregnancy in this case even now . Please give clarity and help me to ease my mind.
Female | 20
Based on the information provided, the likelihood of pregnancy from the activities described, especially since periods occurred as normal, is very low. The ultrasound performed on January 28 would typically detect any existing pregnancy, including rare cases like a cryptic pregnancy. Given the negative urine test and the clear ultrasound result, it's very unlikely that a pregnancy exists now. If anxiety persists, please consider discussing your feelings with a gynecologist who can offer reassurance and support tailored to your situation.

More than weeks ago she had periods and it has not been months and she is having again periods. What is the problem?
Female | 19
Irregular menstrual cycles can occur due to various factors, including stress, hormonal imbalances, changes in weight, or underlying medical conditions. Experiencing periods closer together can be normal, but it's important to pay attention to other symptoms such as severe pain or excessive bleeding. Keeping a record of your cycle can be helpful. If this pattern continues or if you have concerns, I recommend consulting a gynecologist. They can provide personalized guidance and support to understand what's happening.

Am finding it hard to get pregnant because I keep seeing my period for 2 months now
Female | 19
It's tough dealing with periods that last too long. It might be because of hormone imbalances. Symptoms include bleeding for more than a week and irregular cycles. Causes may be stress or thyroid problems. Visit a gynecologist for tests and treatment options.

What are chances of getting pregnant from precum
Female | 25
Chances of getting pregnant from precum are low but not impossible. Precum does have sperm that can fertilize an egg and result in pregnancy. It is better to use contraception to avoid unwanted pregnancies. If you are worried about your sexual health, you should see a gynecologist for advice and guidance regarding the best contraceptive methods.

Can I have child at 43 years
Female | 42
Having a baby at 43 isn't impossible, yet it presents challenges. As women age, chances of conceiving drop and pregnancy risks climb. Irregular periods or trouble getting pregnant could occur. This stems from declining egg quantity and quality over time. Consulting a gynecologist is wise; they'll guide you through suitable options.

Hello, me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex around 18 weeks ago we urinated between each time and we used the pull out method. We had it the day before my period began and it came the next day as expected and ive been getting “periods” each month since. I have also been taking regualar pregnancy test until a few days ago always using the first urination of the day. They have all been negative. And i havent been getting any other symptoms. Although I have been very bloated each day and it wont go away although I can suck in my stomach and it does. Im anxious about cryptic pregnancy and the “hook” effect and im not sure what to do next or what to think im convinced im pregnant although ive no way to know for certain. Ive been getting my “period” at thr expected time each month but ive been told by some women they had their periods throughout their oregnancy im very anxious and not sure what to do i just need a direct detailed answer and cant get in touch with my GP.
Female | 18
Based on the information you provided, it's unlikely that you're pregnant. You've been having regular periods since the incident, and all your pregnancy tests have been negative. The fact that you're experiencing bloating doesn't necessarily indicate pregnancy, as bloating can be caused by various factors like diet, hormones, or stress. If you're still worried, it's essential to consult with a gynecologist for further guidance and possibly a more accurate test, such as a blood test.

Good afternoon I am 29 years of age I am 14 weeks postpartum without breastfeeding because I lost the baby at birth but I want start trying again. But my concern is that I have not started my period yet after I had lochia for 2 and d half weeks. Is it something I should be worried about?
Female | 29
After pregnancy, it's quite normal to have irregular periods if the situation is stressful for you. Your body might require some time to get it reconciled. Stress and hormone levels play a crucial role in the regulation of your menstrual cycle. If you're not starting to have any other symptoms like pain or fever, it's likely just a natural delay. If you feel worried, you can always stay safe by seeking advice from a gynecologist.

Mild leg pain, fatigue, brown discharge, and stomach pain are all symptoms associated with menstruation. Indeed, a cycle can be influenced by hormonal differences and stress. However, if those problems persist or escalate, consulting a gynecologist for treatment and counseling is a must.

Hey. I have done unprotected sex with husband. He did cum outside of my vagina. And I immediately rush to wahroom to pee right after the sex. Can I get pregnant?
Female | 24
Although a man pulls out as a way to minimize the danger, it isn't effective as droplets of pre-ejaculate present semen. The signs of pregnancy can be a late period, sickness, and weariness. You might think of using one of the kits you can get at most drugstores when you are one period late. To avoid immediate threats, emergency contraception is also efficient if your condition is within a few days. I suggest talking to a gynecologist to receive advice and guidance that are particular to your situation.

I want a prescription. I have vaginal infection. The symptoms are itchness, rash, foul smell and discharge. What medicine do you prescribe?
Female | 22
The symptoms you have associated with possible infection, which are itchiness, rash, a bad smell, and discharge, may be due to a common infection known as bacterial vaginosis. This is when the bad and good bacteria are not in equal amounts in the vagina. Apply an anti-fungal cream or gel that can be purchased without a prescription. Choose products that have clotrimazole or miconazole as the main ingredients. Follow the instructions on the packaging for proper use. Cotton underwear is the best choice for you, and douching should be avoided. If your symptoms worsen or persist, see a gynecologist for further evaluation.

Female | 20
Although the emergency contraceptive pill called 'unwanted pregnancy' which can be taken within 72 hours of unprotected intercourse may prevent pregnancy, it has no perfect results. Different conditions can result in your delay periods, such as stress and hormone imbalance. So, you should go for a gynecologist consultation for appropriate checkups and treatment.
