It sounds like you may be experiencing ingrown hair, which occurs when hair curls back into the skin, leading to inflammation. The redness and tenderness you describe are common symptoms. To relieve discomfort, consider applying a warm compress to the affected area and avoid tight clothing. Exfoliating gently can also help prevent future occurrences. While these measures often suffice, if the irritation persists or worsens, I encourage you to consult a dermatologist. They can provide tailored advice and treatment if necessary, ensuring your well-being is prioritized.

Excessive intake of sinamrin tablet may result in various side effects such as a headache, a frequent feeling of vomiting, and abdominal pain. Promptly, drink enough fluids and rest. I am 23 year old male, i have tinea versicolor from years. Till now I haven't taken any oral medical or any cream. How to cure it? Its from my childhood days. Location of tinea: only back( upper back left side) WHITE PATCHES Area: one palm size. It neither increases nor decreases. No other symptoms. Please guide

Male | 23

Tinea versicolor can be treated with antifungal creams. Please apply it to the affected area twice a day for 2 weeks. If you don't see any improvement, please try oral antifungal. Also, keep the area dry and clean and avoid wearing tight clothes as this can make the affected area sweaty. If the problem does not go away still, please consult a doctor for the same.

I have scars on my nose due to specs and on cheeks for acne so, what would be the treatment and how much will it cost

Female | 20

The treatment for scars on the nose and cheeks due to specs and acne will depend on the type of scars you have and the severity of them. Treatments can range from laser resurfacing, chemical peels, dermabrasion, microneedling, and even fillers. The cost of these treatments can vary widely depending on the type of treatment chosen and the area being treated. It is best to consult with a dermatologist to get an accurate cost estimate for the treatment you are considering.

My mother and brother have chicken pox. It's been 4 days and taking medicine. I have had this disease before. Is there any possibility of more coming as I am taking care of them? My father is on medication after his stroke. So, can he take preventive medicine? Is there any use in consuming it for so many days? Since we are all in one house, there is a common toilet. Cleaned with Dettol after each use. Is there a problem with that?

Female | 45

It's so cool that you worry about your family's health. As you have already had chicken pox, you are in all probabilities immune to it. Your dad who is in the process of stroke recovery should not use any preventive medicines on his own without consulting with the doctor. It is a good thing to wash the toilet with Dettol to reduce the possibility of the germs spreading. Pure, practicing the supreme rudiments and caring for one another will be enough to get by!

Male | 17

Your skin’s red dots are psoriasis symptoms but you must seek a dermatologist for an appropriate diagnosis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune, chronic skin disease affecting the joints. A dermatologist may assess your symptoms and recommend suitable treatment measures.
