Chronic skin infection resembling ringworm needing urgent treatment
Hello I have been having a skin infection of something that looks like ringworm. It starts like a pimple and later widens into different sizes. It started appearing on my thighs and is now appearing on every other part of my body except my face and scalp. There are moments when my skin is void of any but on other periods it appears almost every where with a lot on my fingers and palms. It's been on and off for more than 10 years now. I've consulted several dematologist with each having a different diagnosis and prescribing different creams to be applied on the affected spots but those have not helped me in any way. I truly do not know what else to do. Please help.

Ringworms often spread and return if not treated well. Fungal infections love warm, damp body areas. Antifungal creams don't always work for severe and stubborn infections. I suggest seeing an experienced dermatologist. They can evaluate your unique condition much better and recommend medications or other treatments suitable for this.

I am a 21 years old male and i have had acne since the age of 16. I took isotretinoin at the age of 19 and my acne cleared up but i had to go through the treatment with the pain of severe dry eyes, i didn't want the acne to come back. My acne got cleared up but i was left with dry eyes. I went to an eye doctor and got diagnosed with (MGD) and the doctor told me to put warm compress and take Omega-3 supplement and my eyes got better but now i got the acne back, and when i quit taking the omega 3 supplement my acne clears up but my eyes gets dry again.

Dry eyes you experience is meibomian gland dysfunction (MGD), which can occur after taking isotretinoin. Supplements like omega-3s may help your dry eyes. However, they could worsen your acne. It's wise to consult a dermatologist to strike a balance between managing both conditions.

I'm suffering from scalp folliculitis since 2 years . I have consumed various medication as advised earlier (Tablet doxycycline, tablet metronidazole, tablet clindamycin,tablet isotretinoin).these medications ka affective only till I take the medicine and then the pustules reappear. I have suspected genital herpes and had a 5 day course of Aciclovir which finished about 12 days ago. It was improving but I can feel another sore coming. Is this a new outbreak or oart of the same outbreak and do I take another course of Aciclovir?
