Did levonorgestrel work if cervical discharge is thick?
My cervical discharge is thick, half creamy, half transparent, and very little elastic and it was from the day I took levonorgestrel. Does this mean that the pill worked for me?

The emergency contraceptive levonorgestrel's effect on change in the characteristic of cervical mucus is a common thing that also happens in normal physiological situations. The thick, creamy, and slightly transparent secretion you’ve had is likely the hormones adjusting and the pill is working to be effective. This cannot be taken for granted since there are different reactions among specific individuals. Being conscious of your body changes in other cycles like the menstrual cycle is very important. If you are worried or if you feel other symptoms, a gynecologist can give you a clear and reassuring answer.

I had regular periods on every month. But I had sex on August month, then periods came 3 days later on September. Then,I didn't do any sexual activity after sep to now.But this Oct month I periods is yet come, already its 4days late.Is this is a possibility of pregnancy?Sperm which was get inside on August can fertilize now?
Female | 24
It’s common to hear that periods can sometimes be irregular, especially after having sex, which can affect your cycle. However, pregnancy is unlikely in this case, as sperm has a limited time in which it can fertilize an egg. Stress, diet, and hormonal changes are usually the reasons for a late period. But don’t worry too much—if you have any concerns, you can take a home pregnancy test or consult a gynecologist for advice.

Female | 25
According to your sonography record, it is seen that you may have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This particular disease is considered a hormonal disorder and affects mainly women of reproductive age. The symptoms could be irregular periods, acne, and weight gain. It is wise to see your endocrinologist or gynecologist who specializes in this condition if you have it.

Have been having a menstrual pain now for the past 3 weeks and my menstruation is 2 weeks late already and I haven’t experience this before
Female | 25
It’s understandable to be concerned about ongoing pelvic discomfort and a delayed period. Such symptoms can arise from various factors, including hormonal imbalances, stress, or underlying health conditions. It's essential to track any additional symptoms you may have, like changes in mood, fatigue, or unusual discharge. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, managing stress, and ensuring a proper diet can help. However, given the duration of your pain and the delay, I encourage you to consult a gynecologist. They can provide a thorough evaluation and tailored advice to address your concerns effectively and ensure your well-being.

I am a 22 year old female, I started taking my birth control again and have been for a week now. I started my period after starting my birth control again. However, my period or whatever is happening has been occuring for almost 10 days now. The bleeding is very light with just two days of it being a medium flow. My breasts aren't tender, my acne is bad, my hair is a bit oily, I do feel gassy, my back hurts a bit and I feel mildly nauseous here and there.
Female | 22
It sounds more like your body is only getting used to birth control. It is quite common to have irregular bleeding when you start using birth control. Light bleeding, acne, oily hair, gas, back pain, and nausea are also possible side effects of the hormones in birth control. Allow some time to ensure the body gets used to the medicine. And if these symptoms persist or become stronger, please get in touch with your gynecologist for advice.

Periods can be irregular, and that's perfectly normal. Before a trip, having a late period may seem alarming. However, stress, routine changes, or hormone imbalances could cause delays. To try encouraging your period, consider light exercise like walking, drinking ginger or parsley tea, and staying hydrated. If your period remains irregular or you have concerns, consult your gynecologist.

Alongside pregnancy, some of the other causes of your period being late may be hormonal imbalances, thyroid issues, or even missing periods during pregnancy. It's crucial to eliminate pregnancy by checking to see if you're sexually active. If that is not the case, the symptoms you have and the advice of a gynecologist will guide tracing the problem.

Mam mere left arm main sujan aagya h aisa kyu main three months pregnant bhi hu
Female | 24
Left arm swelling during pregnancy is generally not a serious concern and is mostly caused by increased fluid retention. When you're pregnant, your body retains more water, leading to swelling. While this is usually not a serious issue, it's important to monitor it. You can manage the swelling by elevating your arm, doing light exercises, and wearing a compression sleeve. Be sure to inform a gynecologist.

Is levenogestrel effective if we take it 3 days before expected ovulation day
Female | 24
Levonorgestrel, a taken-in time, is a very effective controlling unplanned intercourse, which is the most effective if it is taken after unprotected intercourse but before ovulation. Taking it three days prior may reduce the likelihood of preventing pregnancy, as ovulation could still occur. It's made to stop ovulation and fertilization. However, the time you use it is very important. In case you're thinking about pregnancy problems that might come, look into the possibilities such as emergency contraception. It's also wise to discuss your options with your physician to receive personalized advice.

It sounds like you’re experiencing some concerning symptoms, including delayed menstruation and breast discharge. These could be attributed to hormonal fluctuations, stress, or other underlying issues. I recommend you schedule an appointment with a gynecologist for a thorough evaluation. They can provide a proper diagnosis and discuss potential treatment options tailored to your situation.

I get my menses on the 8th and 24th is it normal
Female | 20
Your period arriving on the 8th and 24th may seem irregular. An unpredictable menstrual flow signals an erratic cycle. Stress, hormone imbalances, thyroid problems, or PCOS could cause this pattern. Recording dates on a calendar helps identify trends. Persistent irregularity warrants consulting a gynecologist for evaluation. They can suggest suitable remedies and provide guidance.

It's usual to have some spotting if you are taking Crina NCR. Spotting is light bleeding between your periods, which may have a few reasons. It could be due to the hormonal changes caused by the medication. To spot the side effects, be sure to take your prescribed drugs regularly, drink enough water, and eat healthily. Hii, My periods are delayed by 7 days now and I m worried as to why this is the case. Just to make it clear I have not indulged in any sexual intercourse. I usually get my periods by 27-28 th day. I got my last period on 5th April and my this month due was around 3rd of April , it's 10th today and I still have not got my periods. Also there has been a change in my routine from continuous travelling to just being at home for a while now. I just want to know if there is anything to be concerned about and should I consult a doc immediately? Or wait for a while ? And what are your takes on this. Height 5' 2" (157.48 cm) Weight117 lbs (53.07 kg)
Female | 20
It’s pretty normal for periods to be a little irregular, particularly if there have been changes to your routine such as decreased travel. Stress, variations in diet or exercise, and shifts in hormones can also impact your cycle. Since you haven’t had sex, it’s unlikely that you’re pregnant. Wait a bit longer but if it still doesn’t come, I reckon it would be best to see a gynecologist to be sure everything’s ok.
