Why am I experiencing prolonged bleeding on birth control?
I am a 22 year old female, I started taking my birth control again and have been for a week now. I started my period after starting my birth control again. However, my period or whatever is happening has been occuring for almost 10 days now. The bleeding is very light with just two days of it being a medium flow. My breasts aren't tender, my acne is bad, my hair is a bit oily, I do feel gassy, my back hurts a bit and I feel mildly nauseous here and there.

It sounds more like your body is only getting used to birth control. It is quite common to have irregular bleeding when you start using birth control. Light bleeding, acne, oily hair, gas, back pain, and nausea are also possible side effects of the hormones in birth control. Allow some time to ensure the body gets used to the medicine. And if these symptoms persist or become stronger, please get in touch with your gynecologist for advice.

I m unmarried but in my reports I have pid problem how it is possible
Female | 22
PID is an infection of the female reproductive organs, usually caused by STIs like chlamydia or gonorrhea. However, PID can also be caused by non sexually transmitted infection, like bacterial infections, medical procedures, or bacterial imbalances. Regardless of sexual activity, PID requires medical attention for proper diagnosis and treatment.

My last period.was on 17.September I had a positive pregnancy test but my ultrasound shows.the.fetus.is.4.weeks.old,it should've.been 7.weeks.by now, Why is.the.baby not growing properly
Female | 24
I would recommend that you see an obstetrician right away. Slow fetal growth may signal a potential miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. Tests and ultrasounds can be run by an obstetrician in order to find the core of this problem. Thus, it is crucial to seek help from an expert obstetrician who can provide the correct diagnosis and treatment.

I had unprotected sex almost immediately after my periods ended. (After 2 days). I took unwanted 72 right after the unprotected sex. Is it safe? It's been 18 days since then
Female | 21
Taking Unwanted 72 after unprotected sex can help in case of pregnancy. It might have to be mentioned that young people should take it within 72 hours. Since the usual menstruation time has passed and in the meantime, you've already got your period, the symptoms you may develop are mostly related to the bleeding. Spotting or changes in the menstrual cycle are the main issues after taking the pill.

Will I get pregnant even after getting contraceptive pill right after sex and ejaculation doesn't happen inside the vagina? I'm on my 6th day after periods end
Female | 24
When the contraceptive pill is taken correctly its effective in preventing pregnancy.. but there is still a small chance of pregnancy even if ejaculation doesn't occur inside the vagina. Take a test to confirm

Good afternoon My period is late and I had sex long time ago but I have not any symptoms of pregnancy and my cycle is irregular what do I except
Female | 19
If you've had unprotected intercourse in the past and your cycle is not regular, it may be difficult to know when to expect your period. The irregularity of cycles may be due to stress, hormonal imbalances, or weight changes. You may experience some new symptoms, but if you do, don't panic. Seek out a gynecologist if you have questions, they can help you out.

Ma'am, I am suffering from endometriosis/chocolate cyst. I have been on Dienogest 2mg medicine for more than a month but still bleeding for 15 days straight. Neither heavy bleeding nor spotting, its something in between. Is there any permanent cure for chocolate cyst or pregnancy is the only solution? I am unmarried. Kindly enlighten me if there is any permanent solution for the same.
Female | 28
Yes with Dienogest it can take several months to be effective. If bleeding continues, speak with your doctor who may perform additional tests or adjust your medications. Doctors can recommend surgery in severe cases or when other treatments have not been effective. Talk to your gynecologist beacuse pregnancy is not a permanent solution for endometriosis or chocolate cysts.

I am 18 year old and i m suffer From vaginal itching inside after pee from 4-5 days and i had a UTI 2 months ago
Female | 18
Itchy vaginas after urinating might mean you have a urinary tract infection (UTI) again since you’ve had one before. UTIs may sometimes irritate. Ensure you drink enough water, avoid irritants such as fragranced soaps, and wear cotton panties. If the itchiness continues, it’s probably wise to see a gynecologist.

I’m having a hestoscopy d and c done next week. I wanted to know if if usually allow to go ahead with the procedure if I have a chipped tooth/ broken tooth?
Female | 39
A chipped or cracked tooth needs attention before hysteroscopy D&C. Inform your doctor if you notice any sharp edges or discomfort. They may suggest fixing it before to avoid complications during the procedure. Having a smooth, pain-free mouth helps ensure a smoother process.

You had vomiting, diarrhea, and an early period arrival. These indicate hormonal shifts triggering bodily reactions like stomach troubles. Stay hydrated. Monitor symptoms carefully. If persisting, consult a gynecologist about such matters.

I'm facing vaginal inflammation after peeing I'm 25 years old how can i cure it
Female | 25
The inflammation in your vaginal area after peeing has some possible reasons. A yeast infection or urinary tract infection (UTI) could cause it. If you feel a burning sensation when peeing or have unusual discharge, it may be a UTI. Water and cranberry juice might help with UTIs. Over-the-counter antifungal creams can treat yeast infections. Wear cotton underwear and avoid perfumed products for good hygiene. See a gynecologist if symptoms persist or worsen.

Is mifestad 10 effective as an emergency contraceptive pill? It's a pill made from Vietnam.
Female | 23
As for Mifestad 10, it is not an emergency birth control pill. Emergency contraceptive pills can either contain levonorgestrel or ulipristal acetate. If you have had unprotected sex, it's best to use a recognized emergency contraceptive pill to prevent pregnancy. Remember the greater the time between unprotected intercourse and the taking of emergency contraception, the less effective it is.

Iam two and half months pregnant and now I am experiencing little spotting and bleeding
Female | 30
It's normal for pregnant women to sometimes experience light spotting or bleeding early on. This can be caused by hormonal changes or when the embryo implants in the uterus. However, it's always important to inform your gynecologist about any bleeding during pregnancy. They will check to ensure everything is fine.

Period aane ke 9 din phle sex krne se pregnant hoskte h kya ??
Female | 22
Generally speaking, the fourth and fifth days before your period kicks in are believed to be a low-risk period for conception. But it is still feasible to get pregnant at that time, may be especially if you have irregular period cycle. If you have any worries relating to reproductive health or experience unusual symptoms, it is important to consult with gynecologist that can give you specific recommendations and advice referring to your particular situation.

I’m having lower abdominal pain sometimes, and I’m having foul smell discharge from my vagina
Female | 27
You mentioned troubles with stomach cramps and gross discharge coming from down there. These clues might mean you have bacterial vaginosis. That's an infection that happens because not enough good bacteria are hanging out in your vagina. Your gynecologist can give you antibiotics to make it go away after a quick check-up.

These symptoms could mean an infection called bacterial vaginosis. You might see unusual discharge too. The bad bacteria are growing too much, causing this. You should see a gynecologist for a checkup. They'll suggest antibiotics to make the infection go away.

Hi. I’m having vaginal nerve pain from 6 months. I’m experiencing sharp vaginal pain. Pain is not consistent and it comes and goes and lasts for 5 sec. At times when I sit on the chair or bed I have sharp pain. When I don’t urinate for long I get pain in vagina. A few minutes ago I went to poop and had to put some pressure and when I put some pressure I started having severe pain in my vagina and there was a thick white discharge like cheese. I’m still experiencing slight pain in the vagina. A month back when I was doing some jumping exercises and faced severe vaginal pain. At times I also experience numbness in my vagina, hands and legs. I had severe constipation in the past but now it’s been fine. I also experienced severe lower back pain in the past but not anymore. I was also diagnosed with PCOD. I consulted the gp to check if there is any bacterial infection or thrush and doctor confirmed that I don’t have any infection or thrush. What could be the reason for this problem.
Female | 17
you might have pudendal neuralgia. It is a condition, which affects the pelvic floor and may cause sharp pain in the genitals, numbness in the hands, legs, and vagina. It may be due to birth trauma or prolonged sitting. We advise you to consult a gynecologist for a proper diagnosis and treatment options.

Is Orthopedic surgery during pregnancy safe? and what precautions should be taken?
Female | 33
First it is important to know what kind of surgery required. If it is considered necessary during pregnancy, consult with both an orthopedic surgeon and an obstetrician to carefully assess the risks and benefits and ensure the procedure is as safe as possible for both mother and baby.
